Had a great lunch at Singburi, though it was a bit of a mixed bag. Starting with drinks, the updated Cox Daiquiri was fantastic—so good I ordered a second!

The small plates were the real winners for us. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, so yummy and succulent with great subtle flavors, we had to get seconds of that one. The mains like the aubergine and the cabbage were also very nice; the cabbage was crunchy and flavourful, and the aubergine was a tasty way to get some veg in.

However, a couple of dishes were disappointing. The lamb riblets, while extremely tasty and nicely cooked (I even asked for some of the sauce for my other dishes!), were way too fatty and didn’t have enough actual lamb meat, which was a shame. And the pork curry just wasn’t to my taste; the pork seemed a bit separate and didn’t feel like it had absorbed any of the curry flavour.

The service, though, was excellent! The staff were great, taking their time to answer all our questions about the menu and giving genuinely helpful recommendations.

Overall, it was a really good lunch, but I was definitely disappointed by the fatty lamb and the underwhelming pork curry.

Singburi was 11/10 magnificent. Lovely and super well informed service, our waiter gave so many terrific recommendations. INCREDIBLE food. Honestly guys. The aubergine pad phet is easily one of the best dishes I’ve had this year. A masterpiece of texture and flavour. Will be dreaming of it forever more. £160 altogether for 2 people, ordered (almost) every dish under the sun, a delightful Paloma each, and a lovely bottle of wine too. Well worth it!

I’m half Thai so I am quite picky with Thai food in London. The dishes here were absolutely fantastic. I went with a girlfriend for a night out and the absolute must have is the aubergines they are on another level. I do recommend the Iberia pork as I saw them fly by and we had over ordered! The cocktails were also excellent. Grab a table at the bar and watch the chefs go at the fire grills – what a treat. Thank you Singburi!

Singburi has brought its legendary Thai flavours to Shoreditch and absolutely delivers.

The smoked pork belly (nam dtok) and wild ginger chicken are knockout dishes, juicy and full of authentic spice.

The vibe is cool yet welcoming with its remarkable hospitality. Great cocktails and a smart wine list to match all dishes. A cult classic reborn and is better than ever. Highly recommend!!!

Singburi is overhyped. Service was okay. Food portions are tiny as others have already mentioned and the atmosphere is lacking – they need a live dj or something to improve the vibe. I went on a Sunday night.

The food itself – I was in a group of 3 and we ordered : grilled chicken thigh x2, grilled lamb (we sent it back because it was just grilled lamb fat so it was inedible), stir fried morning glory x1, grilled fish, aubergine pad phet, beef curry and jasmine rice with drinks. The bill was around 130£ with service. The best out of what we ordered was the grilled fish, chicken thigh and morning glory.

The flavours of the food were overly salty and not spicy at all. Also, they brought out the salty meat dishes out one by one and had to ask for the rice to come out. I was confused because I thought the rice would come out with the meat dishes.

I wouldn’t return and I would not recommend. There is nothing outstanding on the menu. I have spent £15 at my local Thai restaurant and had more food and more flavours.

I had been eagerly looking forward to visiting Singburi, especially after hearing so much praise for their original location in Walthamstow. The new spot did not disappoint.

The restaurant features a long, open counter where you can watch the team in action — both in the kitchen and behind the bar crafting cocktails. The space is bright, airy, and inviting, with a laid-back but vibrant atmosphere.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel completely at home. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and wore a constant, genuine smile. She guided us through the menu with confidence and clarity, which helped us get the most out of the experience.

The food? Outstanding. Every dish delivered bold, layered flavours that stayed with us long after the meal. We shared four starters and three mains between the two of us — a perfect amount for exploring the menu without going overboard.

Highlights included the dill pork sausage and the smoked pork nam, both deeply savoury and satisfying. The salads, however, truly stole the show: the watermelon and strawberry salad was refreshing and full of contrast, while the smoked tomato salad was a masterclass in balance and depth.

Sungburi lives up to the hype — and then some. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Fantastic, creative flavours. Loved the wintery play on som tam with the radish and kohlrabi herbal salad. As a single diner, three dishes plus rice filled me up and then some (a tidy takeaway dinner), so no complaints on the portion sizes or value. Standout service from chef Najin and server Sophie.

Really delicious evening of food here. Each dish was so flavoursome, and the service was really friendly. The cocktails were also really good. Definitely recommend if in the area, although I’d advise you to book in advance – it was full! Thanks very much

Hate when a restaurant doesn’t live up to the hype, and sadly this was one of them. I’d been waiting a long time to finally indulge here since their original location days, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Not sure what everyone else was talking about, but the service was probably the saving grace. The food was mediocre at best, and while I think they were going for that Bangkok café vibe, the décor and overall look just didn’t quite land. I really wanted to love it, but it turned out to be more of a once and done experience.

We randomly got coffee near by and wanted to check out this restaurant. They have daily menu thai food in a nice setting. We didn’t have a reservation and were lucky to sit by the bar in front of the chefs so we can see all the actions. The girl who works the woks really knows what she is doing and so does the grill master. We love the sausage and the grilled pork belly curry – everything is so tasty. The waitress who helped us is chill and not pushy as all. We had a nice time here :). Thank you!!
