Was in this afternoon, after his normal business hours and he gladly prepared my quesadilla request of egg, cheese, veg mix, chicken, and shrimp. Was wonderful food and an interesting visit with that gentleman owner, originally from Zacatecas, MX. The good MX food here. Also a small grocery and gift area. Nice table and chair seating situation. Will absolutely return. Can dine in or take out.

Place is fantastic. Very small, cozy environment. Super friendly service, very tasty burrito. I ordered the chicken burrito: came with rice/beans and chicken, you add the rest at the salsa bar. Really good sauces, pico, peppers, etc. Favorite place in McCook by a mile!

A bit of a hidden gem, as even on a busy thoroughfare you can easily drive by it if you’re not paying attention. Very friendly service with a small, limited menu. The small menu means they get to focus their attention on kicking out good food. The chili verde smothered onto a burrito is excellent, and portions are huge. McCook is certainly not lacking for Mexican food restaurants, but Bueno’s Taquitos holds its own against the competition. Bonus points for the salsa bar, featuring a couple delicious salsas.

Stopped in for lunch on a friend’s recommendation and had great al pastor and carnitas tacos. Great to be able to add lettuce, onions, etc. from the salsa bar. Will be back again soon!
