I was most impressed by the service – our waitstaff was so attentive to the whole table, paced things perfectly (which can be tough for tables with different ages!) and was generally so friendly and accommodating.
We definitely want to go back!
We bought three pieces of cake to take home; the coconut, raspberry champagne & earls court chocolate. We’ve tried both raspberry and coconut, raspberry really tasted like nothing not even sweet and the coconut was good but not fantastic.
It was a fun place to go to, but the food/cake is unfortunately not great.
My partner and I arrived earlier than expected, so we called to adjust our reservation. The restaurant was very accommodating, which we appreciated. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by how beautiful and sparkly everything was! The aesthetic is perfect for anyone who loves pink, florals, and a touch of glam.
As for the food, I wasn’t particularly impressed. We ordered the Lemon Caesar Salad and the Half Turkey & Gruyère Sandwich—both were fine but nothing special or memorable. That didn’t surprise me too much, though, since I had already assumed the desserts would be the real highlight. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. We ordered the Red Velvet Cake, and it was so underwhelming. Neither my partner nor I enjoyed it—the cake wasn’t very moist or sweet, and the frosting was plain and almost flavorless.
Overall, I’d only recommend this place if you’re looking for a visually stunning experience. The ambiance is gorgeous, and the service was good, but for the price, the food quality just doesn’t match up.
