Oh Applebee’s….. I used to really enjoy eating here. Tonight was pretty bad. Seated quick. Probably 25 customers in on an early Monday night. Order was fast and efficient. Food came out really quick. We had a 3rd join us and requested an alternation. It came out with something specifically asked to be removed. Rather than sending it back, picked it off. But the waitress never came back for to check on drinks, or anything. I went to the bar to get refills for our table. Waitress finally came back as I had finished paying. We left.
Oh, and the fries were super salty.

So it’s 22 hours since I haven’t heard back from the store manager nor the area manager Jeff Graham. Who might I add when you call his number says they thrive to please their customers His name was on the bottom of this receipt. I DoorDash and it was the evening of October 21st I got my meal to go. I had been quite busy that evening and did not get to my meal until later which was around midnight. I always pray for my food just for this very reason …there was a hair in my soup, go figure, in the soup lol
I got the grilled cheeseburger which was pretty tasty yet tasted better dipped in my tomato soup but to my surprise to find the hair it a ruined my entire meal. At the time of course the store was closed I couldn’t leave a message so I reached out to the area manager’s number at the bottom of the receipt. Called and left a message. Later in afternoon, I reached back out to the store manager of Applebee’s in Andover yet she was very rude and wasn’t even trying to hear it & said she wouldn’t do anything until she heard from the area manager even after I said I had a receipt and pictures to prove it! Maybe she was having a bad day I get it , bad days happen.
I then submitted a picture along with an email stating my case to the area manager, Jeff Graham.
Again it’s almost been 24 hours and I haven’t heard from anyone and I want to let everyone know This is definitely why I eat local because since I’ve been eating local I have see nothing but greatness come from these local shops and restaurants.
I shouldn’t have to come and write a review about to get your attention that you messed up.

51 minutes from being seated to being served on a slow Saturday afternoon. We had to flag down the waitstaff to get our drinks refilled. My plate arrived with a double helping of green beans since, according to the server, “we don’t have broccoli.” Couldn’t that have been relayed earlier with a substitution suggested?

Our server was great. We were with a big group and she worked hard to get and keep everyone’s order correct and out about the same time.

The side dishes and appetizer were good.
My steak, however, was quite disgusting. I can make better at home. There was no good sear and it was more medium well than medium rare.
The worst part, though? It tasted like fish!!
C’mon, clean your grill if you’re going to cook everything in the same spot.
The two stars taken off for service is because I’m not an employee of Applebee’s. When I go to sit down and eat, I’m looking for relaxing experience. Not to do your job for you.
When I ask for the bill, I want a piece of paper that I can look at, you take my method of payment AWAY FROM THE TABLE, (especially, after I tell you that I want nothing to do with your little kiosk system), then you come back I write in my tip amount in private and leave.
You don’t say, “Oh I’ll take care of it right here.”, and then leave the table for me to complete the transaction.
It’s not her fault, this is what she was trained to do.
It’s RUDE!

Took my daughter for dinner and had a pleasant experience. Our waitress was slammed, but kept her composure and continued to communicate and take care of the needs of all her tables. Our food was hot and delicious! Good value for our portions also!

The food was excellent after I had to have it remade. When it came out the first time everything was cold. The waiter was friendly and very apologetic. I don’t blame the wait staff I blame the cooks. The manger did fix my meal right away though.

Wife ordered a well done hamburger, brown all the way thru tonight. The hamburger she got was RAW and RED in the center except for the outside. Ruined our evening. Waiter got the manager and after a bit of conversation she took the hamburger off our bill. To the cook, when any customer orders a hamburger well done, rare, or medium YOU must cook it how it is ordered. It is my hard earned money and I will buy what I want with my money not what or how someone thinks it should be.

Server was great. Football was great. Drink was great. Salmon was great. Wonton tacos were odd. The shell was different. Not the won ton shell I expected. The chicken on the brocolli pasta was oddly limp and pale.
