Very disappointing experience. The chicken was greasy, overcooked, and had almost no flavor. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The biscuits were dry and crumbly instead of warm and soft.
The biggest issue was cleanliness. The dining area was dirty, tables were sticky, the floor hadn’t been swept, and trash was overflowing. It did not feel clean or well-maintained at all, which made the whole experience uncomfortable.
Customer service was poor—staff barely acknowledged customers, seemed annoyed, and my order was still wrong. For the price, I expected much better quality, service, and cleanliness, especially in Texas where good chicken is easy to find.
Definitely not coming back.

There is a lady with blonde hair at the counter who provided very poor customer service. I stood in front of the counter to pick up my order, and she never acknowledged me or asked how she could help. She completely ignored me. I eventually had to ask one of the cooks for assistance so I could receive my order.
Employees like this can seriously damage a business. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received.

This is now the 2nd time the chicken had absolutely no flavor. Had to use my own salt to give it a hint of flavor. Was very disappointed and this will be the last time I visit. Not sure what has happened to this place, unfortunately.

Google said they close at 10. Pulled up at 9 and the drive through AI said they were closed. As I was leaving the lady at the window waved me down and let me know they were actually open – not only was she super sweet and caring but the food was also fast and hot and the fries were super fresh and crisp

Someone must let the Spanish lady Rethani know to smile. Her sour face gave me a bad vibe. The rice was soggy and disgusting. Now I remember why I don’t buy from church’s chicken anymore….. to avoid this horrible experience.

We waited at the counter while the women finished talking about the weekend. The chicken was very over cooked to the point where the meat turned to cracklins. Really bland, too.

It’s fast food. It’s serving a purpose. Is any fast food worth more than 3 stars? When it doesn’t send my cholesterol through the roof and is healthy, sure. Till then it’s fast food and fit into my lunch break for work. The food is fried and what your expecting typical fast food to taste like. Good enough to serve it’s purpose.

The smell of raw sewage was horrible. We left in less than 30 seconds of entering the building. Whatever problem they were having with the sewer should have been repaired before opening to serve food. I will never be back to that location.

Worst experience! Guy at the drive thru didn’t understand my order. Place looks dirty. You can’t even see the display at the DT. Biscuits are a piece of concrete with “honey” that is a hard sugar glaze. Never again! Not even friendly.
