I drove 5 hours from Illinois to get some galley boys for my dad for a christmas surprise because he loves swensons. I stipped to eat befor eheading back home and the food was great as usual, I love the sweet buns, and my server was very sweet. When I was ready to go my car failed to start and I know nothing about cars and was freaking out about being stuck 5 hours from homw at 9pm. And I’m sorry I didn’t get anyones names but a blode lady from inside swensons and another customer were thankfully kind enough to help me out. The lady got my car jumpstarted and I got home thankfully without any further complications. Thank you so much for all the help everyone was very lovely.

I grew up with Swensons in the 60s when there was one location in Akron. The last one I had was in 2017 at my 50th HS reunion. We recently moved back to Ohio and visited the Anderson location for lunch today. First, I must say the Manager, Cierra was fantastic, and the server, Aiden, was all you could ask for in one of their runners.
The cheeseburger, unadulterated except for mustard, tomato, and lettuce (as it should be!) was excellent, tasting just as I remember it. The slight sweetness of the meat, and the bun matched my memories. Of course, the prices are higher and the burger a little smaller, but it tasted great, which is why we went. The onion rings were great, crispy and not greasy, and they have Diet Dr. Pepper! Sadly, they don’t have onion hearts anymore (anyone remember those?).

080725 – my first time here. I parked & started to walk in, you can’t do that. Girl ran over to me to take my order. Told her I’ve never been there before, do they gave a menu? She told me to have a seat in my car and she would bring me one, which she did a few minutes later. She said when I was ready to order, just turn on the emergency flashers of the car. I decided what I wanted and did so, and she came back a couple of minutes after that. I tried to pay at that time and she said, when the food came. The food came pretty quickly, I paid and asked if they had any outdoor seating anywhere to which she said no. So, bottom line is, eat in your car or take it and go, period, nothing else. I went to a local park. I got a half pound burger & mushrooms. The mushrooms were some of the best I have ever had! The burger was very good as well. I would go back!

Very good, on vacation from louisville and stopped here, well worth it. Cheap prices as well, cheaper than Mcdonalds and better food and service. Yall should put a store in louisville! Great spot on lower brownsboro next to dominoes nobody uses anymore.

I had one bittersweet experience that ended up turning out to be a great fix to my issue. There was no issue with the food or service. In fact, Joey the guy that took our order, was fast, efficient, and kind. Checked on us multiple times while we were eating our food. Great customer service.
Once he took our payment and our tray. He had noticed us sitting there for a couple minutes afterwards and came over to make sure everything was okay. Well our car wouldn’t start, it had power but the computer wasn’t allowing it to turn the car over to start. Joey gave me some car tips and mentioned he loved cars and working on them. He even helped me look under the hood to make sure my battery was okay and had a proper connection. This is not in his job description and also a lot of people now a days mind their business and don’t go out of the way to see if someone needs help. Joey was the opposite. He made sure we were taken care of all the way till we were started up and back onto the road. I thank Joey for great dinner and also the great advice and help!

Finally tried this place a let me tell you this mozzarella burger( not sure of the name of it) Was amazing they were fast. The boy Christian that helps me was amazing. Was very patient with it being my first time very helpful. Love that I get to sit in my car in peace to finally eat a meal lol will definitely be going back.
