Atmosphere: beautiful lighting and decoration. Lovely simple table settings. Can be loud but easy to talk. Love to watch them make sushi at the bar!
Service: our waitress was kind, attentive, and quick.
Food: top tier quality! Everything was absolutely delicious down to the miso soup and spicy mayo. Decent selection of mocktails and long lists of alcoholic beverages. Hibiscus cooler was delicious but the blister in the sun was a little too floral for our taste.
Food ordered: miso soup, shrimp tempura, green bean tempura, gyoza, crunchy California roll, rainbow roll, spider roll, hibiscus cooler, and blister in the sun.
The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh, beautifully prepared, and thoughtfully presented.
I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates great sushi and attentive service.
Otoro was solid, got the salmon skin roll and the moshi moshi roll. I think their specialty rolls are better (the other rolls are super simple) and service was alright. It’s a fun place to go in the Ballard area for a bite after walking around!
You have to visit for Ballards best sushi spot!
The izakaya vibe and overall atmosphere was great. Spent $150 with drinks and tip for two. We ate well.
Looking forward to visiting again soon!
Food: Spicy edamame were okay. The Rumi roll was amazing and is a must!!
