Mezza Grille offers really good food and a nice atmosphere. The vibe is relaxed and pleasant, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.
The dishes we ordered were flavorful and well-prepared, and overall the dining experience was enjoyable. One area that could be improved is the attentiveness of the waitstaff. The waitress was polite, but a bit more attention to the table and guests’ needs would make the experience even better.
Overall, it’s still a very good place to dine, and I would gladly come back for the food and the welcoming atmosphere.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Houston! Everything I have tried on the menu has been delicious. You can really tell they make the food fresh and with the very best ingredients. The salmon salad with the sun-dried tomato dressing is my go to order but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere is chic while being cozy and the wait staff is very attentive. We have used the restaurant for catering before and all of our guests were raving about it for weeks afterwards! Couldn’t recommend enough 🙂

Absolutely the best experience at Mezza! From the moment you enter the service is warm welcoming and helpful. The FOOD 10/10! Everything we had was prepared perfectly… definitely coming back for the mango chicken and mixed grill. If you haven’t tried this you’re definitely missing out. VERY clean and the indoor plants make experience memorable and cozy. The craft old fashion flight was on point smooth and balanced. Can’t wait to come back!

Service was excellent. I arrived around 2:30pm on a Friday and was quickly seated. I ordered the mixed grill and veggies (it comes with rice, but I switched because I’m on a low-carb diet) and red pepper hummus (10/10). The meat was juicy and well-seasoned. I’ll definitely be returning!

I went to Mezza Grille with some friends because of Keith Lee and it was really good. It wasn’t busy at all. The drinks were strong, they have 50% off drinks from 4-6 pm every day. I really liked the prickly pear martini. The crab cakes were fresh, hot, and lemony. The lamb shank was really tender but on the salty side. My friends like their food ad well – the chicken tortilla soup, the mango stuffed chicken, and the salad with steak. Overall I’d definitely reccommend and if I was ever in the area during 4-6, I’d definitely hit them up for happy hour.

Wow, this is a hidden gem in the uptown area! Mezza has been here for over two decades and one bite of their mango chicken explains why. Their food is both daring yet comforting, and the quality ingredients cannot be missed. The staff is extremely friendly, especially the chef of this family owned business. You will absolutely love having a meal at Mezza, this is a family restaurant that needs more attention than it gets!
