I came here by myself to treat myself to a nice lunch. It did not seem too busy, there were probably 3 tables occupied. I waited a few minutes to be seated because the host was not there, but as soon as they came over to me, I was seated immediately. I do not remember my server’s name but they were super nice! For a drink, I ordered a sweet tea. The sweet tea was not as sweet as I would have liked, but it was okay. I ordered the farmhouse burger with a side of mac and cheese. The farmhouse burger comes with bacon, a fried egg, and cheddar. I waited about 15 minutes for my food to come out. The burger was delicious! I really liked the flavors of the egg and bacon with the beef. The mac and cheese was good at first because they had melted cheese on top, but as I got further into the bowl, the sauce that was used was pretty light and bland compared to other restaurants’ macs I’ve had. The inside of the restaurant is really nice and well-themed. The service was okay – I only saw my server when they came to take my order, when they brought me my food, and when I was ready to pay. I felt pretty weird dining in by myself, but it was not a bad experience. I would definitely recommend this place. I noticed they have ice cream and would love to try that sometime.

I recently dined at this establishment with two fellow hikers after covering approximately 100 miles on the trail. We were drawn to this restaurant primarily for their hamburger offerings. I ordered the “Appalachian Barnyard” burger, and it exceeded all our expectations—it was truly incredible.
The meal came with a generous side of fries and a refreshing lemonade. Initially, I was skeptical about finishing such a hearty portion, but the infamous “hiker hunger” took over, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

Motor Company Grill has excellent burgers! One really great thing about them is that you can switch out a regular ground beef patty with a veggie burger or beyond burger at no additional charge! The atmosphere is very inviting. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The burgers are delicious and yes I’m a vegetarian so I did switch for the veggie burger, which, was perfectly prepared.

Thought this would be a great place to eat. According to the reviews. Well the reviews are not up to date at all !!!!!!! We got the 4 high 2 of them. When they come out my burger smelled awful. I told them no onion I have an allergy. Well that’s what the burger smelled like. When asked she looked at me and said don’t eat it. Our spices have onion in them. But yet waitress let me order it. My friends burger was raw. They took it back and made him a new one. When it came back out 30 mins later. It was raw again!!!! The only thing they could offer me was a grilled cheese. They refused to make the burger right and made us pay for it. The lady said I’m just a lead manager I can’t take anything off. But she took my burger off????? The wait staffed completely ignored us. I had to ask them to refill my water. If you look at receipt the lead manager was able to give us 10% off apps. And our drinks free. Hello I had water it was already free. This is the worst place to go to eat. So don’t make any plans on a special day here. You will be dissatisfied. I hope this gets to there manager or owner. One of the two because I paid for a meal that had to be left on the table because it was raw.

It might just have been an off day but our food was not good at all. The burgers were super dry. They taste and looked old. The bread had a funny taste. The fries werent hot and taste old. My water even taste bad. I’m honestly not trying to be mean but it just wasn’t good at all. We loved the atmosphere. The place is really cute just had a bad food experience. Not sure if I’ll give it another try or not.

Thus is a serious gem of a restaurant – our waitress Brooke was so sweet! Yes, it’s classic dinner food but with elevated flavor! I recommend paying the extra dollar to get waffle fries. The Big Bopper burger was amazing! Also the onion ring sauce is life changing

Such an excellent place to stop and eat. Although it is right in the downtown area, the prices were fantastic! We only split a banana split between 3 people (it was still a lot) and our bill was no more than 8 dollars. Everyone’s food looked and smelled amazing, and I would certainly return and even drive up to an hour out of my way to come here. The atmosphere really transported you into the time of cool cars, legendary musicians and sock hopping good times.
