Popped in for a late lunch and left impressed! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, the coffee was good and the whole restaurant was immaculately clean. You can really tell they take pride in their cafe. If you’re in Waukegan, this place is definitely worth a stop, I know I’ll be looking for a reason to be in the area just so I can stop by again.

Pretty good breakfast place. I got Belgian waffle and was not disappointed. Other people in my group got omletes, fish, wraps etc and seems enjoyed their meal. Service was somewhat slow, but we were a large group.

I was absolutely disgusted by what I found in my club house deluxe triple decker.There were dark, crusty substances stuck to the lettuce in my meal, it looked like dirt or something far worse. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
I expect basic standards to be followed when it comes to preparing and washing produce. I won’t be returning, and I hope this is addressed immediately to prevent anyone else from experiencing this.

Went there this morning and automatically fell in love with the vibe. It’s exactly what a diner should look like. The service was top notch. Their were two young ladies working the entire place and they did not miss a beat. They were like a well oiled machine and so friendly to everyone. The food was tasty, affordable and had good size portions. 10/10 would recommend and will go back.

Thought I already posted about this fine establishment but will try again. This place is great, really nice menu with lots of choices and very reasonable prices. Service was really good too with nice distance between diners in these trying times. I had the enchiladas meal and it was better than I’ve tasted in a lot Mexican restaurants we have eaten at. My daughters had the turkey meal and ceaser salad which they both enjoyed very much.

This is a lovely cafe. The inside kinda gives retro 80’s vibes. The staff were very friendly and the food was actually amazing. The pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also had a little bit of everything.

Really excellent food, it is my usual go to for breakfast with friends and family. The price for the food is so affordable. You get a lot of food for your money. The waitress is always filling you up on coffee which is great customer service in my book. I always recommend this place to everyone. My favorite is the Mega Breakfast Combo and it fills me up.

Visited Great Lakes for my daughter’s naval graduation and stopped at this diner for my first meal. I have to say it did not disappoint. I ordered the triple berry French toasted had a side of hash brown (ordered extra crispy) and tried the bacon. It was so delicious. I was so tired from driving from San Antonio to Great Lakes but the coffee here was just the right pick me up. Atmosphere was pleasant and our waiter was so nice and attentive, it left such an impression that I made sure to make this the last meal before leaving Great Lakes. Ordered the oatmeal and hit the spot! Thank you for a pleasant meal Gojo’s and to my waitress today, also very attentive and friendly.
