Welcome to O’Brien’s Restaurant & Bar! We are open everyday except Mondays at 11am! We offer a late night menu & live entertainment on weekends! Catch all the NFL games here this season. If there’s a game on late we will be open! O’Brien’s is a casual neighborhood bar and family restaurant, open daily for lunch and dinner! O’Brien’s is located in the Village of Clayton and right across from the beautiful St Lawrence River and 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel. Stop in and check us out! What a great place, tacos were delicious and my husband a fish sandwich that was huge and very good. But really the service and the atmosphere are what really make this place memorable. They somehow made us feel like a part of the local crowd and everyone just kind of acts like they know you and make jokes and laugh with you. We had such a blast, makes us wish we were locals so we could go hang out. Sue, you are amazing, bartender, server and you really make that place a fun time. Thank you! And the view isn’t too bad either. Pic was taken from our table looking out across the river as a barge went by.

A favorite spot with excellent food, good service, family friendly, reasonable prices and a classic River Atmosphere.
Occasional Bands at the bar area, they’re usually good, lots of TV’s to watch sports, a solid late night menu .. and they own a rare classic Bowling Game!!

The first night we tried to get into O’Briens there was no availability. We returned a couple nights later shortly after opening and were seated right away. My husband enjoyed the beer battered Haddock and sweet potato fries. I had a Ceasar salad with huge cheese shavings, and a delicious Chicken Marsala with the tastiest creamy Marsala I have ever had. Service was average.

I came with a group of friends and we filled the place. The interior of this building is in very good condition and very clean.
Our server was outstanding and did a fantastic job on our needs. Great job to the owners who invest in my happiness and making us smile.

We went in on a Sunday before the main restaurant was open. We were dining with 2 children and although we were seated in the bar area we were treated wonderfully. It don’t feel weird or inappropriate to bet there. The musician was fab too. The food was delicious and the service was superb. I had the best smash burger, hands down, ever. My husband had the fried perch special which was also great. The kids menu was large and tasty. We’d go back given the opportunity.

We were staying at the harbor hotel and decided we would see what the hype was all about at Obriens. Bartenders were alright. Constantly making sure everyone had a drink. Let’s talk about drinks. They were good. Prices not so much. He got a draft beer and I got a mixed drink 16.50 for those to drinks. Ordered the same drinks again and it was 17$. A few of our friends stopped in and they bought 4 drinks, 1 draft beer, 1 bottle beer and 2 mixed drinks 21$. Then we ordered 1 draft beer, 1 bottle and 3 mixed drinks 27$. I’m guessing smaller groups get charged more for the drinks

Great local bar with excellent food choices and beers on draft. Be warned however that they are currently understaffed from June 2021 and there may be an hour wait for your food.
Highly recommend the cheese curds with raspberry sauce, oysters Rockefeller and the wings.

This is an underrated restaurant. The chef has a very good pallet. Prices are fair and the servers are very friendly with the local flair. We’ve had many good lunches and dinners here.
