On Friday, February 6th, I went to pick up a food order for a customer through a delivery app. I presented myself at the counter with my cell phone showing the order I was there to pick up. A young employee told me that the order was incomplete because the mac and cheese was missing. I told her I would contact the customer to inform them about the missing item and ask if it could be replaced with another product. While I was contacting the customer and waiting for a response on my phone, the person in charge of the night shift came out and started scolding her employees for the long wait times for customers in their cars (20 minutes) and those inside the restaurant whose orders were still being prepared. She said they would have to wait to place their orders because she was trying to get things organized. I stayed aside, waiting for the customer to answer my call and messages. After 10 minutes, the customer told me they wanted a refund for the missing product. I then showed my phone screen to the girl who had served me, but the manager started yelling at the girl not to touch my phone and at me that I had to wait my turn. When the girl told the customer she would try to process the refund, the manager turned to me and said, “Cancel the order, I’m not going to give it to you, you disrespected me, and I’m not going to give you the food.” I was in shock because I hadn’t said anything. She kept insisting, “I’M NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU THE FOOD, YOU DISRESPECTED ME.” She repeated that phrase to me about five times. The employee couldn’t say anything because she was new to the restaurant, and besides, the woman wouldn’t let anyone speak. I tried to explain that I hadn’t done anything wrong and that I only had the customer’s response on my phone, but the manager insisted, “I’m not going to look at anything, I’m not going to give you the food, you disrespected me.” So I stepped aside and spoke with the customer about the situation, and he canceled the order. What shocked me the most was that she didn’t take the time to ask any of the customers who were waiting for their orders, nor did she ask her employees about the orders that were already packaged at the counter and waiting for delivery. My customer’s giant bag of food was right there, and the manager didn’t even bother to ask what was going on with that order. By this point, I had been in the restaurant for 40 minutes. When I contacted my delivery app, I reported the situation, and they confirmed that the customer had also canceled the order. There were approximately four delivery app drivers in the restaurant, plus two other customers, and we all witnessed how this woman treated several people rudely. She lost quite a few customers that night. She disrespected both employees and customers. Just because someone is tired, overwhelmed, in a bad mood, or frustrated with their employees doesn’t give them the right to take it out on the customers and drivers who are also working, just like her. It was clear that the staff was disorganized, but the employees who were trying to get the orders out quickly and resolve the situations were also verbally abused by this woman.

Excellent customer service. My order had no mistakes. Young man with locs was very kind, friendly and courteous. Food was fresh and hot. Will be back at this location and would recommend!

The manager lady is rude. I ordered a 3 PCs chicken for my son asking to swap a wing with a leg when placing the order. The supervisor agrees that . After 12 mins wait (yes, slow service), the manager pulled my order and refuse to adjust the combo. She said ” I am the manager, and substitution is now allowed” . Seriously? I ask for it before I placed the order. I won’t go that Popeye again.

The manager of the store is so rude and mean! After waiting 15 mins for food I asked the employee “Is the food is ready?” The manager then came up to me and told me she will not be giving the food to me because I was rude with her employee? All I asked is if the food was ready or not since there were others who came after me and got their food before me! I wasn’t even mean about it, I was just simply asking. Every time I go there, there is a long wait time. They never have the food ready and they make it feel like you are bothering them by just ordering and simply existing! I will never come back to this store and I pity the people who come and order here!!

Never get the orders in time. My order was scheduled to be picked up at 7 today and I arrived little earlier like 6:50, but it seemed like they did not even start cooking. It took even more because they did not even know how many boxes of wings that I was getting. Really unorganized and no one cares how long a customer had to wait. The same thing had happened when I made an order before this. Expected to be better, but nvm. This branch is no good as the rating obviously shows.

We placed an order for pickup via the Popeyes app and scheduled for pickup in 30 mins or so. We got there in time and they say “We haven’t received your order” 10 mins after the person at the desk went back and forth with the manager. We had no idea they hadn’t received the order for the first 10 mins and were just waiting. They then say it and read through our email and verify the location and items. The guy at the front desk put together our items, we checked and noticed some were missing, he added some, we re-checked and he ending up adding more missing items. We got home only to realize we were missing biscuits. The Manager honestly showed no sign of being a “Manager”, zero customer service. I’ve given two stars: 1 for the good fried chicken and 1 for the front desk guy who helped put together our order. Terrible service: while we were waiting, there were people behind us in line who were waiting for 10-15 mins +. Really annoying. If we come back, it’s only going to be for their chicken.

Whoever was running the drive through today had a bad attitude and there was nobody at the restaurant and they were rushing us to order. I told my husband nevermind and didn’t give them our business due to the attitude of the employee taking the order. As a manager myself in the hospitality business I would highly recommend coaching your employees on tone of voice and customer service excellence. We ended up taking our business elsewhere. Even if food would have been good, I rather have nice customer service which we ended up receiving at KFC after this incident. If customer service doesn’t change at this location I don’t think this location will be open much longer.

20 minutes for blackened tenders through the drive thru is in acceptable. This is considered fast food and it took 20 minutes from the point of payment to receiving the food. If there is such a long wait for cooking then a notification should be given before I pay. They will direct you to pull up and park near the door to wait. Having me move up so that the line keeps moving is normal but it seems the team on site believes telling someone to move up means that they no longer have to be timely. Terrible.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location , primarily due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager, Felicia. I am pregnant and was served undercooked chicken. When I requested a replacement for the meal, Felicia was unhelpful and refused to address the issue until I asked for the corporate contact information. Only then did she agree to remake my meal. The restaurant’s lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction was concerning. I am highly dissatisfied with how this situation was handled.
