We came here to BlendedFlavors @12pm and it was empty which was awesome we were able to pick where we wanted to sit. The atmosphere was definitely welcome with open arms family, bring your friends and just vibe to the lovely R&B Music and the Food definitely 9/10 I had the Oxtails which fell off the bone very tendered with Mac&Cheese and Cabbage , my brother had Fried Salmon Cabbage and Potato Salad and my mom had Fried Shrimp with Collard Greens, yams, and Mac and cheese, that virgin Mojito and Hennessy SideCar was on point , We will definitely be back again !!

This place is really the best soul food spot up north. The service is top tier, our waiter Nassir was so sweet and provided excellent service. The food comes very quickly. Appetizers 10/10 (get the bang bang shrimp and egg rolls). The entrees were absolutely delicious! Lamb chops are immaculate, oxtails very flavorful, and you can’t go wrong with the chicken and waffles ✨ great ambiance and music, loved this place!

Went to Newark to pick up my car and wanted to pick up something to eat so i searched tiktok to find a spot. The videos on tiktok made the food look so good and it was. I went with my girlfriend on a Monday night. It wasn’t crowded ambiance and esthetics were great, place was clean. We were greeted and seated immediately. Staff was very personable and friendly. We had bang bang shrimp as app – very good, I had jerk lamb chops and my girlfriend had oxtails both with side of mac n greens. Everything was hot and good. The music was on point (r&b) and the playoffs were on the big screen. im from Philly but I’d definitely go back.

Wow — it’s been a long time since I’ve experienced a restaurant where the food, service, and overall vibe were all absolutely perfect. They have a full bar, which is a huge plus. The menu is very vegetarian-friendly, and everything was packed with flavor.
I brought my 1-year-old daughter, which can sometimes be a little tricky, but our server, Ashley, was incredibly warm, patient, and kind. She truly made the experience even better.
The Rasta pasta was AMAZING — easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. They also had a live DJ who really knew how to set the mood with great music.
10/10 — I enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!

When I say Tina is the best!! an AMAZING bartender and server. I had the oxtail Mac & catfish nuggets with a coconut martini. Obsessed! My sister had the sangria and loved it. Everyone in here is amazingggg I love it here. Will be back again. ALSO so affordable!

This was my first time dining at Blended Flavors in Linden & I must say, everything was delicious. I had the Catfish Nuggets as my appetizer & the Smothered Turkey Wings with Candied Yams & Green Beans. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back. Thanks Naya & Alize for their great service!

I should’ve listened to the reviews, gratuity charged up front but I was not treated well like the regulars so happy hour is a joke. They charge a lot for a little bit of food. 1 pc of fish they cut up was $9. It tasted better than the chicken though. Corn was excellent though. I ordered off of Uber eats. It took them 40 more minutes from the scheduled delivery time to get my food, so it was cold when it arrived. The food was ok not something I would get again. I really liked the Mac and cheese and the lamb chops the most. The only cons is that there was too much juice everywhere especially in my rice and Mac and cheese and the banana pudding is not homemade at all it’s box pudding mix.

I’m there almost every week for the fried catfish sandwich and a rum punch!!! My favorite items!! Always seasoned to perfection and I like my fish crispy!!A Must try!!! Finally made it for the after work Happy Hour on Friday and it was a hit!!! The DJ put the icing on the cake for me! Both my girl friend and I had a great time!
