Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The difference is the vibe. Might be one of the last real Whataburgers. I grew up in Arlington so I thought I knew about Whataburger. Get out of cities. Cleaner air makes for nicer people. Nicer people make all things nicer, and it tastes better. Probably cuz it’s made with love.

They always take forever at this location and you may or may not have everything fresh after waiting 20 minutes. Some of the staff is quite disgusting and absolutely no where near welcoming. They will pick their noses and flick it *right right right* in front of you. Touch obviously filthy surfaces then your food. I wasn’t here for my own order and would not order here for myself at any point lol eek spoopy and gross. ️

I liked it. Only my second visit. I didn’t care for the place on my first visit, but second visit was much better. You can’t judge a business by just one visit. I will return to the same location at 172 and 67. The food was tasty.

My dog Gus and I run errands and wherever we are I get lunch with a drink and a o does Gus. Normally he gets an ice water and he drinks it from the cup which is fine. The young lady at the drive thru knew it was for him and went to the prep area and gave him his own bowl. I just thought it was cool to see her think about him.

We visited on our drive back to Dallas. I’ve heard about this place and had to try it. The manager was beyond friendly. He deserves a raise or at least his own franchise! The burgers were fantastic, super fresh on flavor. I loved the mustard! The fries were thin and crispy… My favorite kind! Too bad the shake machine wasn’t working, we would have enjoyed one as well. If in ever back in Texas I’ll 100% return, the hype is correct! You better listen to the hype and come back soon.

Me and my friends we all went in and straight off the bat someone was telling at the guy on cash because he was cleaning the tables instead of helping us, we didn’t mind we just walked in and we are all understanding we worked fast food before, then a woman comes from the back with headset on take 2 of our orders doesn’t ask if it was here or to go and then she switches with the guy and he takes the rest of our orders, which he did in fact ask if it was for here or to go. We all place our orders we were waiting for our food the first order comes out on a tray and we politely said we actually wanted it to go, the guy manager comes out from the back office and verbally abuses the guy that did everything right and it sounded as though he’s holding hours over his employees head as punishments for mistakes which I dont think is ok, all of our food gets bagged for to go orders and everything was fine we did stop and say something to the lady telling her she shouldn’t let the guy get yelled at for her mistakes and she basically just brushed us off. What we saw was no way to treat your employees or to keep up company morale and is absolutely unacceptable.

Jesus that works the drive through is by far one of the nicest people working in fast food, in this whole town. He has never messed up on a single order and is just genuinely so kind and friendly! Wish the rest of these restaurants had a Jesus!

Ordered a number 1 with a lemonade. Got to the window and took my card right away. Ran it and gave me my food with spicy ketchup covering the inside of the bag and card and told me to have a nice day. Had to knock on the window to get the employees attention where she just gave me a finger and then took the next drive thru order. After another 3 minutes I finally got my drink. And after getting pulled over to my lunch my fries were cold and hard. Burger has all the pickles in 1 corner. Don’t know that I’ve ever been to a whataburger this bad.
