As far as the food, we started with the mixed greens salad which we split and it was still a massive portion! I can’t forget to mention the pop-overs…with some special chive butter which was delish! Husband had the branzino and side or broccoli rabe and I had the Mac and cheese with bacon. We loved everything!! Dessert had the cheesecake which had awesome density. Not too light and not too heavy with fresh berries. So so good.
From a marketing perspective and the fact that “supper clubs” are on the rise, wonder if saying that it’s a club deters people? The pic of the establishment looking from the outside shows the dark swanky bar and leather couches so one could potentially think it was private. Other than that one comment, we will be back! Excellent visit for sure!
Let me tell you—Candace, Kristin, Duncan, and the entire team did such an amazing job. They made sure that not only the food, wine, and ambiance were incredible, but the service was completely impeccable.
I would truly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fabulous night out, an intimate dinner, or simply a gathering with family and friends around great food and amazing drinks.
I’m already looking forward to my next experience here.
Thank you Duncan and the entire staff.
Extremely pleasant dining room, super friendly and helpful service that made me and the group feel welcomed. Amazing food options – variety is great, good prices with excellent quality. Also the popover bread they serve as a welcome bite is to die for. I look forward to coming back
When we arrived, we waited about 30–40 minutes for our table, which we understand can happen on a busy holiday. However, we were seated in a large basement dining area instead of the main hall shown in the photos. The space was not bad, but it was not the atmosphere we were expecting for such a special occasion.
Service timing was also disappointing. We waited 30–40 minutes for appetizers and about 1 hour and 30 minutes for the main course. We had already decided on our order while waiting, so the extended delay felt excessive.
Our server recommended a large, shareable steak, which we ordered. The steak was big, but for a total of $418, we expected a smoother and more organized experience.
Given the delays and service issues, we honestly expected some kind of gesture from the restaurant — whether a small discount, a complimentary dessert, or at least an acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Unfortunately, nothing was offered.
The food itself was good, but the overall experience did not match the expectations set by the restaurant’s presentation, especially for Valentine’s Day.
