At our Nashville, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Fish barely had seasoning on it. I had to go home and add flavor. Also, I didn’t ask for tilapia but they gave it anyway. Yuck! Jalapeno poppers were good but I still went by Arby’s to get there’s because Capt D’s didn’t have much filling in them. I added my own salad at home.

This location is horrible. If I could give it a zero I would. I placed an order online and when I went to pick it up they say they didn’t have a online order with my name. i had to go through the drive thru because they had the doors locked and when I pulled up to the window they kept walking around wouldn’t come to the window and when they finally do come to the window. I showed them the email of my order and where I already paid for it. The manager didn’t wanna deal with the issue and shut the window door on me. This will be the last and final time I go to this location. It isn’t the first time I have had issues with this location. This staff is horrible and I mean horrible. I will be calling corporate office to get a refund of my money. This staff at this location is a lazy and pathetic.

Opened doors at 10:35am. Wouldn’t take any orders until 10:51am. Very apathetic attitude towards customers. I realize someone can have a bad day, but every employee there? The Captain D’s we have in Springfield is much different and better.

I have a problem every time I order from this location. The staff are slow , rude and obviously don’t care about anything. They’re always out of something like cole slaw which has happened numerous times or condiments. It’s hit or miss with the fish. It’s overcooked more times than not.

I must say that everyone here was so nice and had a huge smile on their face. The restaurant was very clean and well stocked. It seemed like everyone was on the same page. We didn’t wait in a line and got place our order right away. The food was hot and fresh. It tasted prefect! One of the best Captain D’Souza I’ve been to in some time.

I go to Captain D’s a lot. It’s a little bitty, bit slow sometimes but it’s always packed in the drive thru. The food is always very hot and fresh. Most of the time the person that’s working the window is very attentive. They have never gotten my order wrong yet. I go at least once a week and it’s always the same. Love it

Ordered online….to be ready by 6:22pm (11 minutes from placing order). I arrive at 6:19 pm….there’s a few cars in drive thru and maybe 4 for walk/dine in. There’s no sense of urgency from any of the employees. They continue to have conversations with each other.
It’s now 6:42pm and I’ve just received my food. Every one that ordered in drive thru and lobby after me have been served and left. While waiting for my food, I noticed that there were paint chips stuck to the grout between the tiles on the floor and the walls look like a 5 year old painted them. PAINT CHIPS!!!
…anyway, I take my food to the car and ITS NOT ALL THERE ♀️
THEN after waiting for another 15 minutes (while my other food is in the car getting cold and soggy from being in Styrofoam containers) I was given the incorrect size side portion…had to wait ANOTHER 10 minutes. WHY??!!! #CaptainDs WHY??!!!
It’s such a shame to have these restaurants so close and receive such sub par service….corporate wonders why their stores are low performing.

This is hand downs the most excellent captain D”s ive personally seen. Erica and this staff are above friendly. Their customer service is so great you must come see for your self. Then the cleaness of the unit is above any standard ive ever read or seen. This unique team is headed up by Carl. Im shocked at how this captain D’s in my eyes beats out even Antioch Tn. The area director Mr. Cooper from Atlamta Ga has taken over these stores Amazing transformation. I also want to put Mickey in the mix here her smilr welcoming is evem more impeccable. CONGRADULATIONS…. TEAM…… EFFORT….. GIVES YOU THESE HIGH MARKS. So to my followers please if in the music city check out this absolutly magnificent captain d’s
