The food was incredibly delicious with generous portions; a great value for the price. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the dining room was clean and nicely decorated, with a homey, welcoming atmosphere. I’m very pleased we chose to stop in tonight! Thank you to Rosalia’s for a wonderful meal.

We stop by Rosalia’s from time to time whenever we’re in town, and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, the food is fresh, and the beer mugs are perfectly frozen — a great start every visit. Today I tried the chicken soup and was impressed by the generous portion: plenty of chicken and rice, topped with fresh avocado. They definitely don’t skimp. I’m usually not a fan of birria tacos because they tend to be overly salty, but the ones here were excellent — full of flavor and packed with meat. In the past, we’ve also had the steak tacos and burritos, and they’re consistently flavorful with generous portions. Excellent experience every time. We’ll definitely keep stopping by whenever we’re in town.

We love this place! Their grilled chicken salad is HUGE and tastes DELICIOUS! The prices are fair and they always great service. Their outdoor seating area is so cute! We love to dine outside when weather is nice. 10/10

Run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Good service and food is literally exactly the same as every other middle of the road Mexican restaurant dotting cities across the south; good, but nothing to write home about. You won’t be disappointed by the food or the service.

What will disappoint you, however, is that they will charge you the credit card fee and hospitality fee they are subjected to. On my $13.28 meal, I was charged an additional $0.75 to cover their credit card processing fee and the hospitality tax restaurants in Orangeburg pay to the city.

Bad practice. This means you will spend an additional 5.33% above menu prices to cover the cost of their business’ overhead. That’s in addition to the 20-30% you’ll pay for a tip, and the already expensive menu ($3.50 for a soda in 2025). I would recommend you eat somewhere else with better business practices, instead of Rosalia’s Mexican Restaurant, which wants to charge you hidden fees to help them pay for the cost of running a business.

Just wasted $50 on two TERRIBLE tasting drinks that we couldn’t drink … after we walked in and the restaurant was empty and smelled like urine – we opted to sit outside. Figured we would order an app and jet. How bad could chips and salsa be? Well we ordered Queso and Beef – awful – inedible. The chips were thick and terrible tasting, clearly they were not freshly made on the premises. So couldn’t eat and couldn’t drink. The glasses had black stuff all over the inside of them – tho she did remake my drink after the first one had bugs in it. Then we sat in the dark waiting for a check because there were no lights on outside on the patio. Never again … and the fact she charged us was mind blowing – clearly we didn’t eat or drink anything.

This is the best Mexican food I’ve eaten. The unsweet tea was phenomenal and the service was wonderful. I drove a hour to eat here and always drive this when I want good Mexican. I actually have a restaurant close to my home but will make this drive every time. Come check out Rosalia’s. You won’t be disappointed

In downtown Orangeburg, South Carolina, you’ve got to go! A delightful restaurant with owners who are passionate about the food they serve and the environment in which it’s served. The food was fresh and full flavored! The nuances of fresh ingredients were a delight to the palate! I had the chicken soup, and it was amazing! We will be back! Y’all get off the interstate and make a trip up to Rosalia’s. You’ll be thankful!

The staff is very friendly and we were seated promptly. The warm chips and salsa were refilled and we were asked if we wanted more as the food was arriving. I wish there had been some beans to go along with all the rice. We were all satisfied. The portion was pretty large.

The salsa was quite delicious. The guacamole is different than expected and not as good. Fajitas were good. Would come back.
