Cute place with more seating than I expected. Service was great. I had regular mostaccioli (sorry about spelling?) which was good and enough for 2 meals. The meatball that came with the order was cooked nicely but a bit bland. I ordered an extra sausage which was great. Side salad has lots of extra ingredients like cucumber, tomatoes and croutons! They have a kind of roll with meals which are really good. We didn’t try the pizza but will go back to since almost everyone around us has amazing looking pies and probably try a special salad.

Hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had. We stopped here while traveling through because it has a great old Italian restaurant sign. The pizza crust tasted like a frozen, microwave-style crust. It was hard on the bottom and soggy on the top. It was like a giant Lunchable pizza crust with soggy pepperoni under a mountain of cheese. We couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat it. Don’t waste your money here.

If you’re in Rockford and want a good meal from some where other than one of a hundred fast food places, stop here. I did a to-go order for the hotel, I had the chicken parmesan, my wife had the eggplant parmesan and we split a garlic bread with cheese. They gave us a good amount of food, enough that we each had half left over for the next day.
We both liked our meals, and it was definitely a much better choice than a fast food option. ** The salad I made at the hotel from items bought at a grocery store.

Great very casual pizza place. The pizza has been consistently amazing every time we order. We have eaten in many times and have also done pick up.
The one time we ordered calamari it was more fish tasting so haven’t tried that again. But the pizza is what we go for….
Their servers are always friendly and prompt, the pick up is always ready when they say it will be.
Love that they have a rewards program (old school a little card with stamps) but old school works well and no app required (bonus).
If your looking for large tables for groups they have them.
Give it a try we sure are glad we did.

ordered a Margherita pizza and clearly asked for extra tomato sauce and extra cheese. Unfortunately, the pizza came with no tomato sauce at all, only sliced tomatoes and cheese.
I waited around 25 minutes, even though the restaurant was empty.
I had given 5 stars before leaving because I trusted the quality would be good, but I was disappointed when I opened the pizza. It was just cheese and tomato slices, not what I ordered.
I hope more attention is given to order details in the future.

Food and service is great as always. They had some holiday party (a company rented the back room) and they didn’t seem to staff enough people. Our server was running ragged, but still made sure we had everything. Would like to see more people on staff when needed instead of penny pinching by owners, but those on staff were great

The pizza was decent, but I won’t be back here, because I can’t trust people who don’t know how to wear pants to make my food. Just about every employee I saw in the place had their pants around their knees so they couldn’t walk right. It was funny and sad at the same time.

Anytime we come to Rockford Gerry’s Pizza is a must. We love their BBQ chicken so much we have yet to try anything else but I’m sure it’s just as good. Best part it’s even delicious reheated as leftovers.
