The food and atmosphere were great! The service so so. Went in today with a group and was quickly sat down. We waited about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged and got our drink order. Several servers kept passing our table without stopping. Mind you when we first arrived there were only like 3 other tables being waited on. A female waiter noticed that I was looking around for someone to stop by and she came over and took our order. She was very friendly and took care of us and apologized that no one had helped us out. The chips and the tostada’s were top tier! Would have given it a 5 had all those waiters stopped by to help instead of ignoring us or being on their phone by the counter.

On my last and first visit I didn’t have to wait to have a table for 4 people.
The service was good for a crowded place.
The waiting time to get our plates it wasn’t bad.
The food overall was good, we ordered octopus soup, sushi, stuffed tilapia and shrimp whit tilapia.
I certainly recommend this place for those who love seafood.

This was an appetizer that the server suggested for us…pretty expensive appetizer and the fish in it was soft and hot but no flavor.
The crazy sushi roll was not that great either.
Overall, not impressed. I was looking forward to it to celebrate my birthday but it was a let down.

What a complete disappointment. The chips for the salsas were super cold. One of the salsas was so old it had that old crust/film on top of the ramekin. The kitchen was playing their music so loud that it was overpowering the dinner area. I could justify the stupid high prices if the quality/service was good but holy smokes. They must have had changed ownership because this place was the best what a shame.

The food was well served in reference to portions. The flavors were good and the options are so many. Seafood and sushi in one place, makes sense, and the flavors worked well. The sauces for the sushi were also good, but I think Chipotle Mayo isn’t my favorite. Service started well but slowly seemed to diminish. We tried something new and would definitely order their food again.

For the freshest seafood, La Laguna Mariscos & Sushi brings it home! Craving an evening out with friends, we came out to try this place out. Being at a table for 6, we were seated promptly and immediately greeted with house made chips with multiples salsas…I washed those down with an ice cold Bohemia beer, and yes…there is a full bar! Not long after my party arrived, the house band(I could not believe they have a house band) performed a variety of hits ranging from classics from The Eagles to Tejano regional titans, Intocable. I am now into my second Bohemia when I ordered a shrimp cocktail and the California roll to start. Both beautifully prepared, I dined on this to kick off my meal and thoroughly enjoyed. There 3 sizes of shrimp cocktail(I ordered medium) and the California roll was assembled beautifully on the plate accompanied by dipping sauces…this was truly a gem! As I’m well into my 4th Bohemia, I ordered what I was looking forward to ordering …the fish and shrimp soup. Let me tell you…this soup had the perfect amount of veggies to protein and broth that this rounded out my meal and was very satisfied. In between our meals as we celebrated a couple of birthdays at our table, we enjoyed a couple of tequila shots…those went down super smooth as I chased them with my ice cold Bohemia. La Laguna Mariscos and Sushi is conveniently located off of I-2 Frontage Road on South Bensten Rd and I highly recommend them!

Wow, just a great experience all around. Line the ambiance of the place, it is clean and well run. The waiters are very quick to get you what you want and very eager to help. Food portions are also large and well cooked, my fish was flaky and fork tender and the veggies were fresh, not frozen. Went for work, so I couldn’t have a drink, but the drinks look amazing although a bit over-the-top! Look forward to going back!

Visited with my wife after a recommendation from a friend, and no complaints! My wife and I shared a fried snapper and shrimp skewers. Both dishes were really good, and we will be back. Our server was really attentive and helpful when asked about a few dishes.

I loved this place so much. The food was great, the drinks are amazing. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. The music is so much fun. The service is exceptional. The staff takes real good care of you. Our waiter would stop by at all times to refill out drinks, to see if we needed anything else, to clean our table. This place is amazing. Try it yourself. I hope you love it as much as I did.
