My favorite CPK location in the Marina closed so first time here. Had the ususal 2 in a bowl, original pizza, n shrimp pasta. I asked for the pizza to be charred but they didnt do it they just did the usual. Everything was good and service was friendly.

CPK is my comfort food. Came to this location with my kids – it’s smaller than the usual chain.
Manager Michelle was so nice and kind to kids! Any restaurant that prioritizes children is a 5 star for me. She gave them a coupon for finding a special teddy. Despite being a little backed up in the kitchen they remained with a smile and kept things flowing.
Anthony server was very attentive and had great customer service skills.
I didn’t take pics of the food because I was busy with two toddlers!

Parking is a challenge though we found a space at the other side of the parking lot. Not very busy at 6pm on a Monday. Both inside and outside seating options. Seated right away and served immediately. Waiter knew about the gluten free options and I had the peperoni pizza. It tasted great and I did not get sick. Very convenient location after watching tapings at the Sony Studios down the road.

I entered CPK CC local was greeted by a young man he was warm and inviting, passed a front of house young woman a pulled back knob pony tail did not smile or greet when I was on my way to bathroom when I exited bathroom she ignored me when I needed to be seated… I was eventually greeted by the warmest smile and a employee who helped me choose a place to sit. She was a very nice lady glasses-short -I believe longer ponytail she was AMAZING and welcoming I’m a traveling nurse I was tired and hungry she rescued my day!!! Food was good, this local needs to perfect the classic BBQ chicken salad Beverly Hills local used to be perfect jicama more needed and chicken was a little dry… shrimp outstanding, sunshine drink outstanding!!! I was there 10/7/25 around 11:45… I apologize I didn’t get the name of my amazing host I paid cash will return and tell friends and coworkers. Thank you!

I just walked in today 10/17/2025. I sat down outside and was told a server would be with me. Literally waited for 10 mins and nobody showed up. I went back inside and told the host and he apologized and said someone would be right out and still nobody came. The worse service I have personally experienced in recent times from a reputable food chain. It was a really bad experience and I hope they do better because I go to CPK a lot. I write this so the owners can see it and take corrective actions of bad and lazy employees that could easily ruin a good name.

I made my way to California Pizza Kitchen since the Dodgers won their game this past weekend. There is currently a promotion where if the team wins then the locals get free pizza! It’s a nice gesture so I had to try it out since I’m a new Californian.
For a chain, it’s pretty decent. They have complimentary bread with olive oil dipping sauce. Simple, but good. I ended up getting the BBQ Chicken Pizza. It stands out compared to your pepperoni pizza because the base is all BBQ sauce. It’s sweet and tangy along with the cilantro and onions that pair well with strong flavors.
All in all, I had good service as well. It’s one of those places that I’m pretty sure nearly every California has been too. It’s a staple and the place to go to for when you’re craving their signature BBQ Chicken Pizza.

I like this location although it’s rather small inside. Their rendition of the carne asada pizza Was by far the best I’ve had. Mac and Cheese was awesome as always.
The bar seating has a nice tv, and friendly staff behind the counter. They were quick to help us find a coupon to save a few dollars too!
Parking at this location is a pain in the butt with all the busy places around.

Today I tried California Pizza Kitchen’s Shrimp Scampi Pizza which is really good. So the first time I have at California Pizza Kitchen was the Mushroom Pepperoni Sausage Pizza which is really good because on the menu it was there Popular Pizza. And today I enjoy the Shrimp Scampi Pizza which is Spicy, Lemony, and good pizza. Pizza is sure changing so much that they Dough to make Pizza but now they have alternative Pizza Dough like Cauliflower Crust & now Chickpea Crust. So this is a good place to eat some good Pizza!!
