Great spot for a solid, no-frills breakfast. Nothing fancy—just good food prepared the way breakfast should be.

Great place to have a breakfast or lunch I enjoyed my food. Food came out rather fast I was not prepared for it. I think I was choosing what to eat longer than it took them to prepare it. Place is decorated with themed October decor and it made the holiday spirit kick in. Loved it here and will be back.

The food came out less than five mintues after ordering. Everything was warm-ish. EVERYTHING TASTED PREMADE. The costco special.
The english muffins where flat..
Lots of potatoes but the larger ones where slightly raw in the center.
Lump crap just means chum…bayou? No…chum chucks unseasoned. Forced myself to eat my share….
Pancakes looked good and coffee was ok…not hot just warm.
The service was awesome…felt good to be here. I do not recommend breakfast. Ill come back for lunch.

Good breakfast of eggs, toast and bacon. Once they decided who was waiting on our table everything fine. We had to wait about 20 minutes before we got service. The food was pre properly and served hot. The service was good once we got a server. Prices are inline with with other restaurants.

Been going to Beach Diner for years and I don’t see myself stopping any time soon. The wait can sometimes be annoying, but the food makes up for it. Get the fries as they are the BEST (I meant to take photos, but we ate the two bowls too fast so enjoy the empty bowl ). I also recommend the Cobb Chicken Salad with feta cheese instead of blue cheese and the Classic Beach Burger.

It was a good diner for breakfast in a strip plaza. I would give them a little higher rating for atmosphere it’s nice and quaint but they use a very strong cleaner disinfectant on their table so when you sit down at your table it’s not very pleasant. Hopefully the owner reads this and makes an adjustment. The table is also very wet when we got to our table not a fun thing to put your arms on. Never fun to have chemicals on your skin like that. However food was great they did a good job. You’ll see the photos below. I would go back for sure.

Customer service was wonderful, nice bright atmosphere, was welcomed with big friendly smiles as soon as we entered. The food was also ready very quickly it was delicious! Great price for the amount of food as well.

The Beach Diner is a very popular restaurant in old Mandarin. The food is freshly made and the coffee is great. They are only open until 2:30, Monday through Sunday. They offer outside covered seating as well as inside. The staff is friendly and their service is excellent. They also have an area that is first come first serve around the counter. Otherwise, there are regular tables and booths to choose from. It’s usually very busy on weekends so the counter seating can be an awesome choice if there is a seat available.
I highly recommend The Beach Diner. I haven’t had a breakfast or lunch that wasn’t delicious.

We got two of the breakfast specials, and a breakfast burrito. I didn’t care for the strawberry cream cheese french toast, but my boyfriend did. We both loved the croissant, we just with the side of bacon had more bacon. One of the owners was walking around and checked on us, and every other table in the restaurant. We really liked this place. We just didn’t see our server very often. Over all it was great!

Brunch was worth the short wait on a busy Sunday. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient, and the food – delicious! The beach atmosphere was very bright. They even have the cleanest bathrooms that I’ve seen in a restaurant in Jacksonville.
