Great food and decent prices. We loved the spicy garlic shrimp, and the schabowy. The Portuguese steak was good but the cut of strip was not the highest quality but for $25 one can’t complain. Sangria was definitely a must as well.

This is a place I’ve passed by so often, I always wondered about it. The foodvis amazing, the ambiance is excellent. The only downside is parking. This is a neighborhood eatery and does not have dedicated parking. I didn’t have too much trouble finding street parking. I had the shrimp and scallops for an appetizer, my mother had the Branzini fish entree. She said it was amazing.

Despite that I lived in this area years ago I never visited this place in the past until this December of 2025. My visit exceed all my expectations and Eliana provided me with amazing service. It still has European food and beers with with an amazing latin work force.
It could be somewhat difficult to park depending on the day and time but this place definitely worth the visit.

Mediocre food and service.
Really not impressed by the food and service.

Had the worst perogies here.(It was extremely dry on the inside and hard on the outside?? Like it’s been frozen for a long time. It was disgusting ) The Garlic clams are too salty. The pancakes were alright but the only thing I really liked was the coleslaw and the water I really question the 4.5 rating of this place.

The service is slow on everything. We waited for awhile to be greeted and seated. No one came to help us untill much later, then when we entered, there was 4 empty tables in the back. They didn’t serve us bread until we asked about 3 times. Never refilled our water the whole time we’re there.

The outdoor seating did not have enough heaters. A lot of the customers were visibly cold.

This is a Restaurant and Bar that refers to itself as American and European. The menu has a mixture of Polish and Portuguese. I believe originally it was owned by a married couple who happened to be Polish and Portuguese. Therefore that marriage led to its diverse menu. It was later sold to one of the workers who is Ecuadorian and kept many of the restaurant’s favorites.

Today we had the Polish cuisine. The waiter and waitress were attentive and professional. They shared the history of the restaurant.

We were happy to their large selection of beers especially the Polish beer which is a favorite of mine. They brought some bread and butter. The bread appeared to be a little stale and wasn’t tasty.

We asked about their pierogi and were told they purchase them from an outside supplier so we elected not to order them. We asked about their potato pancakes which are homemade. They were 4 pieces and thicker than we had at other Polish restaurants. They were good but missed the mark for us.

Next was the Polish pork cutlet served with mashed potatoes and three salads ( beets, coleslaw and red cabbage).

The mashed potatoes were fresh and creamy. The salads were fresh and tasty.

The pork cutlet was a little overcooked and dry. It was thicker than we were accustomed too.

The restaurant was cheerful and a nice decorative. The place is clean and well lit. The bar is well stocked. The restaurant also has outdoor seating.

There is no parking lot but the restaurant has parking arrangements with gasoline station across the street.

We would go back again and try their Portuguese selection but pass on the Polish entrees.

We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was such a lovely experience! The interior has a beautiful European-style homey vibe, and our whole family really enjoyed the meal together.

The highlight of the night was definitely the grilled octopus leg – it was incredibly fresh, tender, and juicy, melting in your mouth with every bite. Honestly, it tasted just like the ones I had in Spain! Highly recommend everyone to come give it a try!

Been there twice now and the food was so good both times. The star for us and we got this both times we went was the Hungarian pancake wow! The dish is soo perfect. Cristy potatoes on outside and flavorful soft and the beef goulash really takes it to another level. The service is really good at this place too and atmosphere is very clean. And they are not shy either when making cocktails.. hehe.

Abigail’s in Linden is a fantastic spot if you’re in the mood for hearty, flavorful European comfort food. Their menu blends Polish, Portuguese, and other European classics, and everything tastes homemade and authentically prepared. The portions are generous, the dishes come out hot and well-seasoned, and you can tell they put real care into the cooking.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a relaxed, family-style feel that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is consistently smooth every time I’ve gone.

Whether you’re craving pierogies, grilled meats, or one of their daily specials, Abigail’s delivers the kind of satisfying, homestyle cooking that keeps you coming back. Easily one of Linden’s most reliable spots for a great meal!
