The food was great and plentiful. The waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was a lil crowded. I had the fried seafood platter. My scallops were everything. My only complaint would be the carrot cake slice, I got to go, for $9.75 was just too small. I would go back.

From the moment I walked into George’s Steakhouse, I could tell this place was something special. The food was amazing ( I had the Flounder and homemade mash) The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the customer service was absolutely top-notch. Everyone was attentive, kind, and made me feel right at home.
What really stood out was the owner’s presence. You can tell he genuinely cares about every guest’s experience. He took the time to come chat and make sure everything was perfect, that kind of personal touch is rare these days and made the evening feel even more memorable.

I am a commercial fisherman, here in Virginia Beach, Virginia, stopped in to see a friend in Suffolk, and ate at George’s steakhouse. I had the flounder stuffed with crab meat that was absolutely delicious, the service was outstanding, price was very reasonable for the product. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a quality meal.

I always get their George’s steak special and sometimes it can be so tender. Always delicious. This time every bite I said ummm just about. Ashlin waited on me and I’ve known her for awhile and she knows how to treat people. Hard worker! Remodel is wonderful!

I’ve only been here a few times, and every time I’ve been, I’ve never been disappointed. Very friendly service and the food is great. I personally recommend trying the lasagna. It’s one of the best I’ve had.

We came here for my birthday dinner and had a blast. The atmosphere is unpretentious family style, which is perfect for me. Our server was Alice, who, I understand is an icon here. She took all of our shenanigans with humor, grace, and style. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the sides (loaded baked potatoes and Greek salad) were abundant and delicious. Most definitely recommend George’s steakhouse.
Current edit: I had the fried seafood platter on this trip. Our server Ashlin, The Amazing, was a hidden treasure. She made a routine dinner twice as fun because of her rockstar personality. Promote Ashlin and make her a senior manager!

Ordered a steak and some French fries. The fries were not great by any means despite being pretty heavily touted. They were heavy with grease.
My steak was okay, but not quite what I would have expected for what I paid. Slightly overdone past the medium I ordered.
Got mushrooms on the side and I am pretty sure they sent out all the mushrooms they had. Definitely didn’t skimp in that department.
