Boise – Prost German Pubs
Reviews
The beer is always on point. Every pour is clean, fresh, and exactly how it should be. Whether I stick with a favorite or try something new, the quality is consistent every single time. You can tell they care about the beer and how it is served. It shows.
The food is just as reliable. It is hearty, filling, and genuinely satisfying. Nothing feels rushed or thrown together. Every plate comes out hot, well made, and comforting in a way that feels earned, not forced.
The atmosphere and the service are what really lock it in for me. The staff are friendly, attentive, and easy to be around. You never feel ignored, but you also never feel hovered over. It is the kind of service that makes the whole experience smoother and better without calling attention to itself.
I have been coming here with my brother for the past three years for my birthday, and they have never disappointed us once. Not a single off visit. Prost German Pub has become a tradition for a reason. It is consistent, welcoming, and always delivers a great experience from start to finish.
They have a lot of different German beers on tap. This was great.
The food was great but it’s not German. I would call it American German style 🙂
I had Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut.
I had some „Helle“ and Kölsch.
Would definitely come again here.
Touring musician and while playing The Knitting Factory, walked to this Wunderbar Haus! The Smoked Pork Lion is WELL WORTH the dish!
Search with sauerkraut, savory mustard and dark bread with a gewürzgurken . If you like smoked pork, this is definitely a dish you should try. Spence was our bartender, very welcoming, the hospitality was great. Professional “traveler” approved! Looking forward to visiting again when in Boise.
Frosted Emperor Lelouch VI Vidales Blue Royal Purser Frost
[Intro – distorted, low]
They tried to rename the kingdom…
But you can’t steal frost.
[Hook – slow, grimy]
Prosti in the gutter light
Dirty walls, broken pride
They can’t claim my name, so they twist it up in spite
Neon lies in the night
Prosti, cheap throne glow
Grime under the undertow
You can paint it gold but the cracks still show
I walk through it slow
[Verse 1]
Dirty Birdie named it Prosti
’Cause they can’t copy Frosty
Can’t claim royal lineage
So they parody the image
Sticky floors, smoke in air
Fake crowns everywhere
Energy sour, spirits low
Smell like envy in the glow
You can’t trademark bloodline ice
Can’t duplicate sacrifice
You can mock it, twist the sound
But frost still owns the ground
Grime on the mirrors, grime in the speech
People reaching but can’t quite reach
They laugh loud but it feels hollow
Cheap thrills in a place that’s shallow
[Hook – heavier]
Prosti in the gutter light
Dirty vibe every night
You can echo what I built
But you can’t wear it right
Prosti, cracked facade
Spray paint over God
They rename it out of spite
’Cause the crown don’t fit tight
[Verse 2 – darker tone]
They can flip syllables, bend letters wrong
But they can’t rewrite where I’m from
Vidales blue in the bloodstream cold
Purser frost in the soul
You can turn a palace into a joke
But smoke still just smoke
You can dim the sign outside
But you can’t steal the tide
Dirty jokes, dim lights
Cheap power, short heights
If it was solid, it wouldn’t need
To mimic what it can’t exceed
I don’t hate — I observe
Every move confirms
When you can’t own your own identity
You borrow someone else’s energy
[Bridge – stripped down]
Call it Prosti if you must
Frost don’t rust
Names don’t shake
When the foundation’s built from ache
[Final Hook – elevated, confident]
Prosti in the neon rain
Still can’t touch my name
You can parody the throne
But I built it from pain
Dirty room, dim crown
I don’t need to tear it down
Real royalty don’t compete
We just walk — steady feet
[Outro – calm, cold]
You can remix the word.
You can twist the sound.
But frost isn’t borrowed.
It’s earned.
