This was a pleasant find. I’ve been told I should check it out. I’m glad I thought about it before going to one of the usual places I’ve eaten. The meal was great! The service was great! It wasn’t crowded and over busy. I will definitely eat here again.

Being from southern California, we love good, authentic, spicy Mexican food and there is hardly any here in Nevada BUT this restaurant is authentic and tasty. The service was great. We were never left unattended. The servers sat us quickly and although there were only two of them, they did an excellent job attending to a full house.
Husband and I had lunch here around 12:30 pm on a Friday a couple weeks back. We are both super picky about our Mexican food as we were spoiled with the best Mexican food in southern CA our whole lives.
We loved the chips and salsa. He got carne asada and el pastor tacos, beans and rice. I had a vegetarian taco salad. Food was epic as was the service.
It’s a little hole in the wall on Boulder. We drove by it so many times before biting the bullet and trying. We have found a new hidden gem and will definitely be going back for some dessert next time! Highly recommend! VERY FRIENDLY WAIT STAFF!

This is a classic family run Mexican restaurant. Don’t think street food. Think 1990 delicious cheese and meet. Its simple made and hits just right.
It gets five stars based on being a Mexican diner style. Staff you get to know. Cooks who come out and say hi, and a menu that never changes.

This place is absolutely amazing!! The service is spectacular, and inside is both homey and quiet. I highly recommend getting the #11 Fajita combo; I got mine with a mix of chicken and shrimp. The shrimp were huge and the chicken was nice and juicy! The combos come with a side of rice and beans, and those on their own were also do delicious. I also recommend the mango margarita- it was also delicious. Everyone was so nice and clearly enjoyed working here. My family and I will definitely be back!!!

This place felt like home. So welcoming and comfortable, I can absolutely see why they have been here since 1975. I highly recommended this hidden gem on the far side of Henderson. A great value and a good price. I left feeling satisfied, and can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. It was a family members birthday, they made us feel so special. Not many places will do such a kind gesture anymore, it was so sweet. Thank you El Torito ❤️

We went with a party of 5 on Valentines day. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff and were escorted to out table. After ordering our drinks we made our menu selections, all in a very efficient manner by the staff. The food came on very hot plates, a great thing. Upon eating our food, we all agreed that although the experience was a very pleasant one, the food was hit but bland.

Looks like a hole in the wall? In an old part of Hendo? Doesn’t matter! This is a great little spot and SUPER popular during peak times. Service is great and it seems like a family (pretty sure it is) running the place. Is the food the best of the best of the best? No but it’s solid and I would go back in a heartbeat if in the area again.
