After driving past here over 100 times I decided to try it. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. Shakes are good and thick. Burgers are tasty and not a lot of toppings but they’re not messy which is trade-off. Fries are worth passing on and just get the onion rings instead. Hotdog is decent enough and satisfy the young picky eaters.

Got to hang out on the grass while the tables dried with their new coat of purple paint. Enjoyed a burger and shake with the kids and husband after a nice hike in gold bar today. We haven’t had king Charley’s in a long time, so like everything else the prices went up, which is too bad, but we get it. And it was worth the 60 dollars because we got to feed the whole family and take a break while we recovered from our earlier adventures. Service was excellent those workers are doing a dang good job and they were efficient, and I could see they were hot in there so the mama bear In me wanted to ask if they were drinking plenty of water. One of the workers I could see when he touched the raw meat he took that glove off and finished wrapping up the food and put a fresh glove on. I appreciate a good work ethic, and not being lazy about it. I see the place is well taken care of and clean. Lines are usually long, but if you have the patience to wait,you will get a good meal out of the deal. Thanks for a great service you 3 (two males, 1 female) they also greeted us,smiled, and Said have a nice day. I really appreciate that. Makes me want to go back despite the prices.

King Charley’s has added a few new items to the menu and they started accepting credit cards. Otherwise, things haven’t changed much in the 50 years I have been eating here. The food is fresh and you can see it being prepared. You may have to wait in line, but it will be worth it.

The food is amazing here, but they need to get with the 21st century. Having to write down the order, and then moving to the register to plug the order in, then bringing you the total and then taking your card to the register and then bringing a copy for you to sign slows the pace to a crawl, have fun sitting in line for 30 minutes before finally being able to put in your order.

The food had good flaved and they had quick friendly service. But my onion rings were mostly small end prices. Also my burger patty was pretty thin. For the price they should be thicker patty’s and more then just small pieces of onion rings.

Very cool ! The food is good, the staff are cool and friendly, and it looks and feels like a classic drive-thru. Good prices. A portable movie screen for next Summer, would be super-cool. One of our favorite places.
