First and foremost they offer complimentary valet making it easy access to the restaurant, there is also parking on the street around the restaurant (if needed).
We arrived without reservation and got sat right away, thankfully.
We started with drink (Bloody Marys!) and ordered the beet salad and oysters, fresh and from Alabama!
We ordered the Nicoise Salad, Schnitzel and Burger for our entrees. I personally loved my salad and it was prepped in a way u have seen before. I do wish there was some more tuna but it was flavorful.
The key lime pie was a nice way to close out the meal. I’d definitely come back here again!
•Fresh Stone crab
•Fish collar (dip your yeast rolls in the juice)
•Octopus
• the grilled oysters were perfection
Entrees:
• Swordfish broiled in duck fat
• The Whole Flounder was described as the best on the menu
•NY strip was unreal, paired with crispy potatoes. Incredible
•Grouper was also outstanding
The drinks were outstanding, ended the meal with an espresso martini that was probably the best of all time. They do it right here- the chefs and line cooks have incredible attention to detail before ANYTHING leaves the kitchen. The wait staff is superb and runs like a finely oiled machine. The only time we had to flag anyone down was to ask a question about the menu or put more food in. I was asking about their dry ager as pictured below and they are going to do bacon from the tuna which is just mind boggling. The Maître d’ explained how chef Adam is all about sustainability and using every ingredient to its max extent which is extremely impressive for a seafood
Establishment, especially one so far inland.
Once you go, not if- make sure you come hungry and able to enjoy a full 3 course meal. There is something for everyone here and you will leave blown away, by service, ambience, & the wide array of culinary perfection you will experience.
A top 5 meal of all time for me. Thanks Chef Adam and Waiter Adam! Making a Monday before Thanksgiving a memorable meal
