We started with honey ginger naan & Lamb Samoas it came with 2 dippping sauces very delicious. The goat curry was out of this world. I’ve never had it before so to me it was exotic and delicious. I had the chicken drunk noodles and they did not disappoint and even had enough leftovers for the next day. This place is a newly discovered gem for me and I can’t wait to go back.

Been wanting to try it and so glad we did. Service was fabulous, they gave some suggestions on menu because I was undecided (I really enjoy Indian food). We went with samosas, garlic edamame, garlic naan, butter chicken and tikki masala both medium. Wowza, spiciest thing I’ve had in San Antonio that had actual flavor not just heat. Soooo good!
Can’t wait to try some more menu items next visit, and will turn down the heat so I can eat more.

This had the be the best restaurant I’ve ever been to, the owner is the sweetest person and really cares about your experience. This was our first time eating here and everything was so good and fresh, the service was amazing, and everything came out pretty quickly. I asked for recommendations and the owner took the time to ask us what we liked/disliked and gave us great suggestions. The butter chicken was AMAZING, it was definitely my favorite thing I tried. 10/10 experience, I will be definitely coming back!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I ordered the Jhol Momo with veggie filling (dumpling soup) spicy level 4/5 and it was the perfect heat for me (think hot Cheeto spice level). My husband ordered chicken korma and asked for spice level 6/5. Our server asked if it was hot enough and he said it could be hotter, so she took it back to the kitchen and had the chef add a little more heat. (He was very happy with it as it was, but our server was determined to make it perfect. Ha!) The end result had a lovely dried pepper flavor and was definitely hotter. We really had a great time and were very well taken care of. We will go back as often as we can and recommend it to our friends! It’s a gem!

We enjoyed a delicious meal at Himalayan Kitchen. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was creamy, and richly spiced. I was able to customize it to my desired level of hotness, which for me was a 5, which is the hottest.
The vegetable samosa that I enjoyed for a starter was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a richly spiced potato and vegetable filling and was served with a refreshing mint sauce. The garlic naan was delicious! The soft pillowy bread was smothered with a lots of fresh garlic butter, and was perfect for dipping into my creamy chicken tikka masala sauce. The owner that served us was very welcoming and attentive to our needs and any requests. I look forward to visiting Himalayan Kitchen again in the near future. The menu features mostly traditional Nepalese food but also includes other Asian style dishes, like pork fried rice.

This authentic food is consistently delicious. You are able to select spice level and choice of protein. Vegetarian options also available. We had the ginger chicken, lamb biryani, and garlic naan. The service is great; the staff are attentive and friendly. They also serve alcohol and desserts!

WOW! such a hidden gem! The Nepalese Beer is super smooth! The Lamb Samosas were dusted with an amazing spice, couldn’t figure it out. They had such an amazing crust. I ordered the Goat Curry and my wife the Sizzling Momo platter, The Naan is absolutely devine. We grabbed the Nepalese Mango and Coconut ice cream. Definitely coming back! Tripti (sp) was super welcoming.

Have loved this place for years and it feels like it just keeps getting better. Love the tofu tikka masala, probably the best tofu dish I’ve had the pleasure of eating. The pork sizzling momo were delicious and our waiter did a great job with recommendations!

We have eaten at a number of Indian places but never tried a Nepali place! Very impressed by the flavorful food selection!
Our server/owner? Was very knowledgeable and explained the menu very well. She was passionate about the food and her recommendations were spot on! The goat curry was so good and the sizzler lamb momo was very unique. The sauce was not needed but was a great way to change up the dumplings. The corn. Was. Fantastic!
Can’t wait to come back and have great food. Definitely recommend a try!

Service is great and food was perfect! Although it’s spicy for 3 level. If you like little spice, go for 1. 2 was pushing it for us. Definitely coming back to try the others. We played it safe with butter chicken, garlic naan and the fried momo sizzler. There’s so much more to try! Also family owned business and great hard working people.
