LUNE is a fine dining restaurant. We offer a french inspired, locally sourced menu. We offer an eight course tasting menu on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and A La Carte options on Wednesday and Sunday. Reservations are required for our tasting menu, but not a la carte! We look forward to hosting you!

I am very late with this review, we ate at Lune in June of this year, but here goes! I have lived in Dennis Port for a few years and I am so thrilled that a restaurant of this caliber has opened here. We were so excited to dine there and went all in with the tasting menu and full wine pairing. Regretfully, we did leave feeling underwhelmed and disappointed. The setting is gorgeous and the staff all lovely and attentive (a little too attentive sometimes as we were asked for our menu/wine selection by three different people!) The Foie Gras tarte and the oyster were the highlights, and the sourdough divine, all dishes beautifully presented. However, the other dishes were mediocre and the “main” duck was not good at all. The duck, along with a couple of other dishes, felt inchoate: it just wasn’t quite at the level anticipated or, frankly, at the price point charged. I am all for a new restaurant experimenting and joining them on the journey, but when a meal for two costs $500+, I kind of expect things to be pretty flawless. The wine too needed some help. At first glance I was thrown by the “sommelier’s choice”. It was giving “we bought too many cases of this and need to get rid”, and honestly, that’s how the pairing came off. A couple of really nice wines (the Cava, the Retsina) and a couple of quite bad ones, if I’m being honest (sommelier’s choice, for one). The sever, too, was really not up to discussing it much, which was disappointing. She said she was a level 1 sommelier but couldn’t identify the main river in the wine region where 3 of the 6 wines came from. She couldn’t get away from the table fast enough. I don’t want to be mean, and again, I am so very happy that Lune is open and wish them all the best, but I really do feel that the quality was not up to the standard set by the price point. I wavered between 3 and 4 stars but ultimately, as there were more than a couple of things amiss, I went with 3.

November 2025: we enjoyed the chef’s menu dinner. sitting at the chef’s table always adds a layer to the experience, as I enjoy watching the chefs creating the dishes. I liked the dishes, every one was innovative, with many layers of flavors. My favorite dish today was bay scallops. If there was anything that I would have liked to change would be saltiness of sauces, they were just a little salty for me. I also enjoyed that the owner introduced the chefs by name before the dinner. They did a great job! We will be back.

Excellent experience. Dining is small and large plates (tapas style) meant to be shared. The restaurant recommends ordering you selections up front and they will pace the delivery, which worked well for us. The plate choices change regularly based upon ingredient availability and season. The chef’s creations are wonderful. There wasn’t a plate we didn’t enjoy. The selection of wines were primarily European and paired well with the food. Staff was very attentive and interactive.

So lucky to have gotten in on the waitlist. Charlotte & Mick Formichella & their lovely team present a welcoming tasting menu and wine pairing that are expertly crafted and timed, beautiful, and perfectly balanced in flavor and texture (even for those of us who are gluten free)! Thank you so much for being our top dining experience on the Cape.

Nov 2025: Lune is easily the best restaurant in Massachusetts. It’s an eight course prix fixe, service compris, meal. We sat at the chefs counter where you can see the meal prepared. We enjoyed every course. I’ve included a photo of the menu so I won’t go into detail here but I’d say the highlights were the beef tartare, the Brewster oyster and the bay scallops.

Dined here for the tasting menu in August. Really incredible experience – service was top notch while still feeling home-y. Love a menu and experience that feels thoughtful without being too frilly and unrelatable. Tomato salad was the star of the show followed closely by the scallop mousse stuffed squash blossom. Both were really great examples of using simple quality ingredients and treating them in unique ways. Wine pairing was well worth it and absolutely elevated some of the dishes.

Had a very good dinner here! My family and I had high expectations and were satisfied with what we ordered. Although there weren’t any dishes in particular that WOWed us, we still had an enjoyable meal and would come back. The space is small and cozy, so it was a bit warm. The menu changes regularly, but our favorite dish was probably the littleneck clams. We passed on dessert since we were full—no leftovers!! Phenomenal! My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Lune during our annual trip to the Cape, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Living in the DC area, we’re fortunate to experience some of the best restaurants in the world — yet Lune managed to surpass them all.
From the very first spoonful of the exquisite mushroom soup to the final bite of the delicate strawberry mille-feuille, every course was a masterclass in flavor, balance, and presentation. The wine pairings were equally impressive, thoughtfully selected to complement each dish and highlight ingredients from around the globe.
This was, without question, our best meal of 2025 — a culinary journey so refined and memorable that it deserves a Michelin star. For anyone visiting New England, Lune is an absolute must. Treat yourself; you won’t find a better dining experience anywhere.

Having spent many summers in Cape Cod and explored the dining scene, we’ve had our fair share of great meals, but Lune in Dennis is in a league of its own. This restaurant has quickly become our top choice, completely outshining even the best the Cape has to offer.
The food at Lune is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish we tried was crafted with incredible attention to detail, from the freshness of the ingredients to the precision in cooking. The flavors are thoughtfully combined and executed with finesse, easily comparable to some of the finest meals we’ve had in New York City. It’s rare to find such a high level of culinary skill in a cozy, local spot.
Speaking of cozy, the atmosphere at Lune is just perfect. It’s warm and inviting, striking a wonderful balance between casual comfort and a refined elegance. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Their friendliness and attentiveness made us feel right at home, enhancing our dining experience even further.
What’s more, the prices at Lune are very reasonable for the quality of food and service you receive. It’s a place where you feel you’re getting incredible value, which is always a pleasant surprise.
We can’t wait to return next summer—and probably more than once. If you’re looking for an exceptional meal on the Cape, Lune should be at the top of your list.

Had a wonderful experience at Lune. Was able to book a last minute reservation. Small restaurant, tasting-menu. Friendly service, great food. Sample menu attached. The halibut was my favorite, followed by the BLT.
