In the wintertime the indoor seating is the only used space. We arrived around 11am and had about a 20 minute wait for a table. The indoor seating was more quaint, but I’ve heard that they use the outdoor seating in the summer and there’s a lot more people around then.

The food took about 20 minutes to arrive. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict. I had requested the eggs to be medium poached, but they came out to different consistencies, one being perfect and the other being runny (which I don’t love runny yolk). The crab cake was a good concoction of flavors. It had some sort of vegetable mixture in it that was flavorful & savory. The hashbrowns were mediocre and a bit soggy. I find crispy hashbrowns to be more generally preferred.

I also tried the Benedict Royale and Chicken Norwegian Waffle from others in my party. I liked the salmon, but one in our party did not. It seemed like it was likely frozen salmon cooked to order, which I was happy with. The Chicken Waffle was a nice mix of sweet & savory. There was a fruity jam and the chicken wasn’t overly seasoned, so it was a gentle pairing.

The price was satisfactory for the dishes and I would come again. After tax and tip, it was $105 for 4 people.

The food was delicious! This is definitely a place for rich people though, expensive prices for not that much food.

The service was unfortunately really poor. It took 45 minutes for our food to come out, while everyone around us was ordering and getting their food within 5 minutes, no communication from our server at all, she did not stop by once during those 45 minutes.

The patio and vibes were very cute though.

We got the schnitzel and eggs and the special lunch of the day. Their bread/rolls were the stars, and the coffee was great.

We paid $55 + tip for two people.

Such a cute Scandinavian spot with a beautiful indoor and outdoor ambience — the space itself is unique and charming. We stopped in for brunch and will definitely be back to try lunch. My partner said the waffles were good but nothing out of the ordinary, while I absolutely loved the smoked salmon Benedict — probably the best I’ve ever had with smoked salmon!

Amazing experience! Servers were kind and took care of us in a timely manner. My friend got a Norwegian waffle with a deep fried chicken (so yummy) and I got the Pyttipanna with the French bread. Fantastic taste!! After sitting for a while the wife of the owner came and took our plates. She said that her husband was one of the first to sell sourdough in Salt Lake! I wish I would’ve gotten some! She was so lovely and had amazing energy. Would go again! Good prices for their food too!!

During our visit, we ordered the Eggs Benedict Royal, the Salt Lake City omelet, and a grilled cheese sandwich for my child. The Eggs Benedict Royal was absolutely delicious — perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and a flavorful combination of ingredients made it the highlight of the meal. The Salt Lake City omelet was decent, though a bit on the dry side, so it didn’t stand out as much. The grilled cheese was a hit with my kid, and it came with a side of fresh fruit, which was a nice touch and made the meal feel a bit healthier.

The service was excellent throughout our visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which added a lot to the overall experience.

We chose to sit outside, and the outdoor seating area was wonderful. There was plenty of shade from the surrounding trees, keeping things cool and comfortable even in the midday sun. It created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable.

Parking could be a bit limited depending on the time of day, but we noticed there’s some off-street parking available, which helps alleviate the issue.

Overall, it was a great spot for a casual meal with family. Tasty food, great service, and a lovely outdoor dining experience make this place worth a visit. I’d definitely return to try more from their menu.

Self-seating. Adorable café. We ordered the Wienerschnitzel & Eggs with side of sourdough (delicious) and the Norwegian Waffles. Only downsides were the waffles were super dry even though the lingonberry sauce was good and the waitress wasn’t so nice.

I’m not sure why so many good reviews. It took awhile to get seated, and longer to get served. Mediocre food from quality and quantity. The taste wasn’t any great either.

Looks like they skimp out on food and charge a premium for no reason. I got the chicken and waffle, and my chicken looked like a filet of fish. The server gave me a small discount for the lack of food and taste. Go to park city cafe for real food and service.

Seat yourself when we walked in.
Waitress was friendly and personable.
We ordered Finn’s Green drink – cucumber, kale, spinach, and celery with lemon wedge. Cucumber- forward. Very light and refreshing.
Ordered the fried chicken with asparagus and potatoes. Chicken was crunchy and tender inside. Also had the reuben. Good amount of slice pastrami with a heap of sauerkraut and ample swiss cheese. Not overly dressed. Good flavor. Only down side was the sandwich bottom half was wet, which made eating a bit difficult. May have been sauerkraut juice.
Finished with marzipan cake. Generous portion of layered, scratch-made vanilla cake with strawberry preserves, wrapped in a luscious layer of marzipan. Topped with whipped cream and sliced strawberry. Delish!
Note to management, it’s great that the tables are cleared off quickly, but it’s just as important that tables get wiped down. The wiping down of all the tables that were cleared while there did not happen.

Wow. This place was incredible. I ordered the havarti grilled cheese and vegetable soup with Norwegian meatballs, plus a slice of marzipan cake to go. The meatballs in the soup were very similar to my Norwegian grandmothers and the broth was so flavorful. The portion sizes were great, big enough to satisfy but not so big you left over full. I ate the cake later in the day. It came with strawberries and whipped cream. The cake didn’t really need them but it def brought this already amazing cake to the next level.
My server was polite and attentive.

Finn’s is a charming breakfast spot that we couldn’t believe wasn’t busier on a Saturday morning! No wait for a table, and the service was excellent. The patio is lovely and shaded, and the inside of the diner has a fun. almost retro vibe. We got the french toast and the waffles and both were yummy. Food overall is a bit overpriced, but generally on par with other breakfast places in SLC, and Finn’s is unique and charming enough to make it well worth a stop.
