I love all Steve’s burgers… Think they have 3 locations…. Fried mushrooms and fried zucchini are really good as are onion rings. King Kong burger is amazing, pastrami is awesome, steak sandwiches are really good, normal burgers are really good, fries are good also. I drive out of town to go there for their food!

The SUPERIOR Steve’s of the valley! The competition is pretty close when it comes to lunch and dinner between this Steve’s and the smaller joint on Florida. However, this one is clearly better as their breakfast is always top-notch and they know how to make hash browns. Also, this Steve’s has better deals like two English muffins for a value price. The service is pretty good here and I never feel rushed. The restroom is a bitty messy and in need of some repairs quite often so don’t be shocked if it’s closed for maintenance. Steve’s Burgers West is also MUCH bigger than the shack on Florida. This location has a large dining room, great for big or small groups and there’s outdoor dining on the covered patio! The drive thru is very spacious here and has room for many cars. On this visit, I tried their Gyro and it was pretty tasty, loved the meat. It had a little too much onion though!

Hubs and I tried Steve’s Burgers West back in October 2022. We were discouraged when we found no vegetarian breakfast burrito option of just hash brown, cheese and eggs. The Original Breakfast Burrito comes with both Ham & Bacon. We asked if we could substitute Avocado in place of both the Ham & Bacon, but the only option was to pay full price and omit the meat, then add avocado, making our burrito cost more than any of the breakfast burritos on the menu.
We also tried the Combo of Three with French Fries, Fried Mushroom and Fried Zuc, but had no reason to go back when other fast food places offer Egg breakfast burritos

This is my go-to spot for breakfast! Everything here is solid, but as a true breakfast lover, I can honestly say their pancakes top any diner’s. Even if I lived in LA, I’d still make the trip just to enjoy them!

I can tell you the bacon isn’t fresh. It was pre-made and sitting in a big stack in bin on the counter behind the cashier like they do at Subway. Since it was double cooked? It was mega crispy. Basically just snapped in two and had white spots all over it. The hash browns were the real problem though. It was just a giant brick of potato crisped on the outside and basically a baked potato on the inside. Kinda like my shredded hash browns to be lighter so you can mix it up with some hot sauce. Basically imagine putting hot sauce on a baked potato then trying to mix it up. Just mushy potato. I usually like these proprietorship type diners but, for a $17 egg bacon hash brown breakfast I wasn’t very jazzed. Didn’t eat the potatoes. I really was hungry for hash browns too.

Clean and peaceful but a good meal with the hubby The only thing was my burger lacked sauce and I had such a small piece of lettuce. I appreciate my veggies in a burger and theirs was a little in skimpy side. They do have a condiment table that I was able to add mayo and ketchup

It’s been the better part of a few decades since I’ve been to a Steve’s burgers. My Mom used to work in Hemet back in the mid 90s and I remember taking off school so I could go to work just to get a Steve’s burger and Onion Rings with a frappe. This is a total trip of nostalgia for me and I wasn’t disappointed even though it wasn’t the original one I went to as a kid the smells brought back a lot of memories!

The pastrami sandwich is pricey but worth it. They don’t skimp on the meat itself. Definitely worth every penny.

Stay away from this disgusting placed I bought a family pack and there giving the customers junior patties like there where regular size . I call the owner who doesn’t even speak English and she was the worse person to complain. Saved your money go somewhere else like Tommy’s burgers or farmer boys any other places but not here.
