Today was the last straw for us!
We have frequented this establishment for at least 10+ years. Mostly on Sunday afternoons for Wing Day. We even continued supporting them during Covid with take out meals at least once a week. Always tipped excessively for the staff during this time to show we appreciated them being open and so that they would still be open after the pandemic.
Here we are post pandemic now….Many times we would be the only ones standing at the door where is says “Wait to be Seated” for several minutes. This wouldn’t be an issue except there were many empty tables. The girls would be either chatting amongst themselves or flirting with the local men that were regulars and their age (about 30s), completely ignoring us at the door.
Well today the same thing happened. This afternoon we went in, there were about four free tables and we stood at the door for about five minutes, with neither of the three staff (ladies) acknowledging us. We decided to head up to one of the empty tables and sit down. The three of them literally walked past us many times delivering food/drinks to the tables. Not one of them in the ten minutes we sat there acknowledge our presence. I took it upon myself to go to the bar…where I was rudely spoken to by Sarah. “I will be with you shortly. Had you waited at the door like you were supposed to, we would have known you were seated at a table!” My reply was “we stood there for five minutes and yet again, like many other times, we were ignored, so we sat ourselves.” Sarah took her time to come back to us to get our drink order and food order.
We are done with this place! It is always Sarah and one other lady that is on staff on Sunday afternoons when we go in. Those two need to get off their high horse and treat everyone like they do the local “drinkers”. Or if you don’t like your job…quit!
Bob and Marlene…you have worked hard for your business to strive…you might want to have a chat with these two ladies…

Been here before, had to go back! Food was fantastic! Made a trip to Smithville to have a bite with a couple of buddies, and catch the leaf game. Beer was cold, and service was friendly and attentive. Food was hot and came out in good time from placing order. Waiter checked in a couple of times to make sure we had everything and to monitor drink needs. Had the hot beef sandwich and it was fabulous……good beef, nice side of vegetables and decent fries, would have preferred fresh cut fries but these were decent. Portion size was good and we all were happy with the food and drinks. Nice atmosphere, bar section had comfortable tables and chairs, plenty of tvs to enjoy the game and keep an eye on other sports. Real local crowd feeling which was great. Kinda wish I lived closer, but it was worth the trip. Keep it up guys! We’ll be back , everything was that good !

Our first time after we heard nice things about this place. We had Sarah as our server and she was excellent gave us excellent advice on her fravoits. Sarah nailed it! We will come back and the wings were large and tasty. COBB salad good for two meals but none never made it home.

I got the Highwayman burger and you could taste that they are homemade in the restaurant. It was really good and filling. The fries were nice and crispy. My dad got 3 lbs of wings to share, and although there wasn’t much sauce on them, they were still good. I’ve been here a few times and always enjoy it. They’ve got that small town bar feel while still having a decent amount of space.

We went back for the wings and they are big, cooked perfectly, sauced perfectly and are so good. We got them breaded and had 3 lbs, 1 lb Willy style, 1 lb medium butter and 1 lb Forty Creek and they were all excellent. Definitely the best wings around.
Being pretty much the only restaurant in town we decided to give it a try. It’s a lot bigger than we expected. It is very clean and has sports themed decor. I had the fish and chips special which was up there with the best I’ve ever had and a great deal on Fridays. My wife had the French onion soup which she said was delicious. We took a couple of bowls of Buffalo chicken soup to go which was oh so good. The prices are great and the service was some of the best we’ve had anywhere. I’ll be going back to try the wings. Great Burgers too.

Beat wings in town. Well, that’s not hard to do, it’s a small town. More like best wings in Niagara, including Hamilton. Worth the drive. You will not be disappointed. One of the very best burgers I’ve ever had too. And servers are awesome. Never had a bad, or even meh experience.

Excellent 10/10. My husband ordered 6lbs of wings in honey garlic & mild, along with some sides and wow we’re impressed. He also met the owner extremely nice gentleman. We will be back for sure.

Went on Wing night with friends and we were told there would be a wait. Yes we waited about 30 minutes for a table but once seated we were served our beverage of choice but told we had to wait to place our order. About 10 minutes later our order was taken, 6 orders of wings for 4 people 3 orders hot and 3 orders different sauces along with 2 orders of the veggie sticks and dip. Veggies arrived right away and we waited for the wings. By the time the wings arrived we were on our second picture of beer. The wings were very tasty and BIG so big that between the 4 of us we couldn’t finish them. We had about 14 left over. We wanted to pay the bill and get on our way but the waitress said this is a dine in only and you have more than a pound of wings left! I will have to charge you for an order of take out!??? Or sit there and eat them?? 4 wings per person? But she say it as an order. We tried to choke down a few more but couldn’t. About 10 minutes later she showed up with 2 take out boxes and handed them to us and went for the bill. I truly thought this was wrong and left a really bad taste in our mouths. Also we were told that because we ordered 24 wings hot she had to charge us for 25 as there was no “24” button?? 3 x 8 wings = 24? What started out as a fun night turned into a bad taste and with so many places with wings we will be looking elsewhere. As a side note maybe our waitress was having a really bad day and shared that with us.

I’ve been a couple of times and have had a good experience . We recently went on the Sunday night wing special. It was very busy when we arrived but a staff member quickly came to us and had us seated in a timely matter. The service has always been great. Even with the volume our server was swift and great. The wings were very good. We had 5 orders and all were perfect . A couple of wings were on the small side but quality was great. I will say we ordered the appetizer sampler and found the portion a little small but all the food was good on it .
