Annie’s pizza was started with a dream by my father and mother . They started the first Annie’s pizza at 4th & oak in down town Louisville .We branch out to other parts of the town and now have move on from down town to the Portland neighborhood & Shively neighborhood areas of Louisville. Many years have past from day one we have learned a lot on day one on what it took to makes pizza pie and we always have continued to keep learning and to improve to strive for excellence ! Oh for those who want to know ! Annie’s was named after our grandmother who’s name was Annie

I ordered a Chef Salad with Bleu Cheese Dressing and no Croutons. I received the salad just fine but they gave me 1 Ranch and 1 Italian Dressings and one 1 but 2 bags of Croutons. I don’t know if my order was switched or not but I do know that if I ever order from here again (it will be a long time if ever) I’ll check my order before I leave.

My family ordered food here for the 1st time today. We got 2 steak hoagies, and 1 chicken bacon and Ranch hoagie. Also a pepperoni personal pan, and a chocolate chip cookie. Excellent is an understatement, everything was fresh and amazing. I can’t believe we’ve lived so close to such a fantastic restaurant and didn’t even know it. I’d show pictures but we couldn’t stop eating it long enough to take one. Absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a fantastic meal that also doesn’t break the bank. We wish we could give more than 5 stars, Thanks guys for excellent service and a phenomenal meal.

If it didn’t taste as good as it does I would’ve given Annie’s a 1 Star. I’ve been coming for the buffet occasionally for 7 years. It used to be well stocked with hot fresh pizza around lunchtime, every time. Something changed a couple years ago. Price went up a little and buffet went downhill. Last visit, we walked in around noon and saw only a few pieces (not ‘pizzas’) and 2 seated patrons obviously waiting for fresh food to come out; we didn’t even sit, just left. Today, same situation, except I had time to wait… and that’s what I did. I was told first thing that there were a couple pizzas almost done for the buffet, but it took 15 mins before any came out. I can understand this around slow times, but 11a-2p… there should be food on a buffet. Picture is at 12:10 on a Thursday with 1 person seated with some food.

Update from some years later. Still haven’t been able to find pizza that could beat theirs! Seriously thinking of taking a day trip (over an hr drive) just to get some of their pizza again!
