**CASH ONLY** – Just a heads-up, this wasn’t clearly posted anywhere that I saw, so I want to make sure it’s the first thing you notice.
I visited this spot because I’m a big fan of *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives* with Guy Fieri, and I was excited to try it out. The restaurant has a cool, laid-back vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is dog-friendly, which is a nice bonus.
We started with the honey hot baked wings. They had a great flavor and were fall-off-the-bone tender. That said, I wouldn’t call them “jumbo” as described on the menu—they seemed more average in size.
I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which was a bit disappointing. It resembled more of a chicken patty topped with sauce and cheese, rather than a traditional cutlet that fills the plate. The sauce was runny and on the sweeter side—not really my thing, though that’s on me for not reading the menu more closely. The entrée only comes with *either* linguine marinara *or* a vegetable side, not both, which feels a bit stingy for the price.
My girlfriend ordered the Eggplant Rigatoni, which was advertised as spicy but really wasn’t. The portion size was also smaller than expected. I guess we went in with high hopes—I was expecting more of a “Nonna’s kitchen in South Philly” kind of experience.
Overall, the ambiance was nice, but the food didn’t quite live up to the hype.

Loved the food and the kind and attentive staff. A cute little dive bar with inside and outside seating. Their freshly made pierogies were delicious, especially with the fondue sauce that usually accompanies the potato wedges. The Mac n cheese came in a light, buttery sauce, and the linguini with crab gravy was not at all what I expected. Their crab gravy is very simple to a Maryland blue crab soup, as a flavorful and not acidic red sauce. We came in for a late lunch, and they were only moderately busy. Would definitely return to give their cocktails and pizza a try. Important to note that this bar is CASH ONLY, and there’s no signs until you get your bill. ATM is available with a $2+ surcharge.

We’ve been wanting to come here since seeing them on Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives & they were definitely worth the wait!
They are a local bar spot & it was rowdy & fun for the Eagles game! I don’t remember our servers name (black hair & super friendly in the little room off to the side) but she was great. We got the fries with pulled pork as an appetizer – so good! We also had the meatball sandwich, the chicken parm sandwich, the stogie joes stromboli, & the pasta with crab gravy. Everything was fabulous with the crunch of the stromboli dough really being the hit of the day.
Great food, great atmosphere, & a really nice staff – we couldn’t have had a better time!

We just happened to stop in here because we couldn’t find a place that was open after 4 in that area. The food was really good. They had a okay gluten free selection, but they are a cash a restaurant.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Vibes!!

It’s a cozy spot with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is fantastic and the service is superb! Did I mention they have live music while you are enjoying your food and drinks!

The pizza is square, and the sauce is on top… but it is one of the best pies I have tried. The gnocchi was out of this world. It was soft and packed with flavor from the sauce!!

Make sure you stop by for some of the best italian food in the city! Oh, and bring cash! They are cash only, but have atm on site.

Enjoy!!

What can I say? The food was amazing muscles in white, I don’t eat gluten so I basically drank the juice! The salmon was amazing, the mixed vegetables were so delicious with a surprise sprinkle of lentils omg yum! Got to see an old friend in there and the server, I wish I caught her name she was super friendly and funny. All the other staff were great as well. This was like my 3rd time there why don’t I go more often is my only question. I love having one on one dinners with my mom, we have the best conversations it’s just a whole treat

We enjoyed the restaurant and the servers were pretty attentive. Our group had a large meatball sandwich that was tasty. The pizza is good but different, lots of sauce and much less cheese. The cheese steak Stromboli was also very good.

I did not like having to pay for a refill of my Diet Coke, especially when they did not say anything. As someone who loves their soda, the food was good but not so amazing I can’t pass on the place the next time i go out, and go somewhere else with a refill.

We sat in the smaller room with the fireplace, it was cold out. Loved the eggplant pizza square! Just the right amount of sauce, flavor and crispness. My daughter had the hamburger with cheese and bacon, her favorite when we go to Stogie Joe’s. My daughter also had 2 old fashions, which she loves from there. Had to order the potato spears, love them. This tume we tried the sausage app. Had the sweet one, pretty good. Next time we will try the hot ones. Can’t go wrong with anything there! I’ve had the 1/2 chicken many times, one of my favorites.

My very close friend Guy Fieri told me about this place. My gf had the crab gravy type deal and I had the meatball sandwhich. Both were both pretty good but I think her dish was the best. That’s what guy had so it made sense. I liked the fireplace and the friendly service.

Tried Stogie Joe’s for the first time tonight and I’m so glad we did! My husband was craving a chicken parm sandwich and I had heard good things about this joint, so we ordered via the delivery option through their website along with a hot Italian sausage for me. These hoagies arrived hot and delicious! No notes on the flavors, all very well balanced and served up on a quality roll. Very impressive service, and a crazy low delivery price – 81 cents to go to Point Breeze! Their delivery guy asked if I was sure when I gave him his tip. Hell yeah I’m sure my dude, where in the world can you get delicious food delivered quickly for less than a dollar these days? We’ll definitely be ordering again or dropping by to visit in person.
