From the beginning to the end was overall a negative experience. Our party of 4 were sat on time in a booth that was too small to accommodate us comfortably but we didn’t have time to wait for a table because we had theater tickets and weren’t sure how long standard meal takes there (first visit). The best way to describe our server was politely indifferent. She smiled and was friendly but not concerned with our satisfaction because she never asked if we needed anything or how anything was. When we asked what ‘bread service’ was, her reply was ‘bread for $2 per person’. This could be interpreted anywhere from wonder bread to an artisan bread basket. Turned out to be a braided loaf with oil and a pat of butter. Nothing other places charge extra for. We each ordered NY Strip. At least 70% of each one was very grisly. The flavor was somewhat bland. The glaze was good but there wasn’t much of it. The baked potato was extremely firm. Too firm to smash with a fork. It would not melt the butter I put on it. Side note, for a place with premium pricing, you shouldn’t have to unwrap one pat of butter at a time. I’m sure that didn’t help with the temperature, taking time for that. Two of us asked for a replacement of the mashed potatoes and was kindly granted the request. When they came they were very good and hot. It was the only thing that came at the appropriate temperature (besides dessert). The desserts we tried were very good. All in all, we paid roughly $300 for very good mashed potatoes and crème brûlée and a brownie sundae. I can’t see going back again.

Food was delicious. All the tables of people eating around me looked to have amazing dishes. I got a waigu burger with blue cheese and it was so juicy. This place has a trendy selection of beer on tap but the impressive option is their vast selection of whisky. My waiter was extremely nice and helpful. He continued to come by often, checking on me and filling my water. Everyone there seemed to be so friendly and nice. I would totally recommend this place for a date or a nice night out. I intend to return if I’m back in the owosso area any time soon. Only complaint is they did not have pterodactyl wings and that was the only reason I went 🙁

I was meeting someone for a lite bite and had never been before. Really nice atmosphere, nice outdoor porch. Very good service. Nice variety menu. Would recommend.

After living in the area for a number of years, my husband and I were finally able to try out the Wrought Iron Grill and were highly impressed. The food, service and atmosphere were beautiful! Every bite of our entire meal was scrumptious and we can’t wait to go back again and try new items. As a gluten free eater, there were many items to choose from as well. Our server Debbie was delightful and very personable! We started with the Brussels Sprout, bacon and shallots as our appetizer, for the main meal my husband had the buttermilk fried bluegill sandwich and I had the filet mignon. Lastly, we had the pecan pie cheesecake and crème brûlée for dessert. Mouthwatering food!

Management Valentine’s Day evening was so rude & made me and my husband feel very uncomfortable!
Me & my husband went for the first time ever & had a reservation @ 7pm
the host greeted us @ 6:50 mentioned he would go check on a table for us. No problem.
The problem for me however was right after he stepped away the manager in a red shirt came way to close to me (so close to my face that I could smell her breath) asking if we had a reservation very disrespectfully making me very uncomfortable and made me feel racially profiled.
This was right after she spoke to the host that already mentioned we had a reservation.
She proceeded to say it’s going to be closer to our reservation time to be sat.
So we waited & up until we were sat the managers sat 4 sets of couples before us!
It was really off putting and we almost left.
Our server however was great she made us feel welcome unlike lady in red manager who the whole night kept making us feel uncomfortable the whole time we were there.
The food was alright. Nothing super special for the price.
Safe to say we won’t be returning any time soon, no thanks to feeling like we didn’t belong because of management. Definitely shouldn’t feel racially profiled in this day and age. It’s disgusting!

Walter our waiter was FANTASTIC! Service was beyond great. The specials were hard to choose from they all sounded so good. The sirloin with blue cheese, cooked perfect to my specification! Highly recommend to anyone coming in for a meal and cocktail! We even got a free dessert for it being our anniversary! Awesome experience.

I’ve had two wonderful date nights here but have only taken pictures from one experience. The wild mushroom risotto is incredible! The booths are slightly uncomfortable from wear but are more than tolerable. A great place to have dinner with friends or a date. This is going to be my go to for dinner when family is in town!

3/6/26 UPDATE: I still have not been contacted by management. What exactly is going on at this establishment? This level of silence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. The owner seriously needs to wake up and start paying attention to how this place is being run. Customers shouldn’t have to chase down basic communication or respect. Get it together.
I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but what I witnessed last Saturday evening was extremely concerning. I personally watched the male bartender pour himself a beer and drink it while on the clock. Shortly after, he and who appeared to be a manager (wearing a red shirt) were drinking together behind the bar, laughing, while the female bartender was left to handle the workload alone.
The dynamic between the manager and bartender felt inappropriate and unprofessional, and it created an uncomfortable atmosphere as a customer. Employees drinking while working — especially alongside management — raises serious concerns about leadership, accountability, and oversight.
What’s equally troubling is the complete lack of response from ownership. I called Wednesday to discuss this and was told the owner had stepped out. I called again over an hour later — still unavailable. I requested a return call and also sent an email. I have received no response.
This level of unprofessional behavior, combined with zero follow-up from ownership, feels like there is either a lack of control or a lack of concern. Neither is acceptable. I expected much better.

Great place! Service was good. Entrée is a little slow to come out but it was fine. Server forgot an item we ordered but that’s fine too. It is a really cool looking place and staff is super friendly! We’ll likely go back ☺️

My husband and I chose the Wrought Iron Grill for a date night recently. We are new to the area so it was our first time trying it out. Absolutely phenomenal!! The food was incredible and the building itself was beautiful. Great atmosphere! Both the hostess and the manager who greeted us at the door were very friendly, welcoming, and professional.
The only negatives:
-We had exceptionally slow service. We were seated for 15 minutes before a server brought out our waters, an extra 10 minutes waiting for a mixed drink, and much longer waiting for all of our orders. I’m not sure if this was possibly due to short-staffing though so not a dealbreaker, but it would have been hard for our kids to sit through such a long wait for everything.
-Definitely would not order an Old Fashion again! Probably the worst my husband has ever had.
It is a little pricey, especially for portion sizes, but this was expected. Overall, it was a nice place for a date night, especially considering we were not rushed or in a hurry. We will definitely be back!
