New Orleans Food & Spirits is one of those places we never skip.
The Voodoo Rolls are a must every single time — no debate. On our road trip back home, we were so excited to spot one of their locations along the way that we hopped off the highway immediately for dinner. Zero regrets.
They never disappoint. You can really taste the care in every dish. The seafood is fried perfectly — crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. And the pasta? Strongly recommend. I’ve ordered it many times over the years and somehow I still don’t get tired of it.
The whole experience here just feels good. The kitchen crew is full of energy and warmth, and when we leave, everyone says goodbye like family. That kind of vibe is rare and special.
After we got back, we even recommended this spot to friends who were on their own road trip — their whole family loved it too.
Honestly, I wish Houston had food like this.

Had dinner on a recommendation. It did not disappoint. Started with Hush Puppies and the Crawfish Corn Soup, very flavorful Cajun ingredients. Then ordered my main course Redfish Ponchartrain, the portions were very generous and the Cajun flavors were amazing Che our server was prompt and very cordial, she possessed a bright smile and lively energy that made the experience unforgettable.

Absolutely loved this place! Our food was delicious, freshly and well prepared. From the amazing tartar sauce (so hard to find a good one these days!) to dessert, the whole meal was a 5-star experience. The interior is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

They cooked- up the perfect oyster po’boy, with very large oysters, perfectly fried golden but moist, no grit in the fry and served on a wide flakey French bread.

Very generous portions. Delicious food. The server was very attentive. I asked for the dressings to be on the side of my sandwich – no problem at all.

Awesome lunch! We were seated in glassed in area, where you could look down into a green space. Very beautiful.
Had the lunch special Eggplant Ponchatrain. Seafood on a bed of angel hair pasta, with an extremely tasty sauce. It was so good that we asked our server for bread to sop up the excess sauce.

Our server (I think Chris) was super attentive but not bothersome. Fast and friendly with a genuine smile. They accommodated our last-minute need for two tables and request to move to the hybrid outside seating. They brought my daughter a delicious bread pudding for her 19th birthday. Thank you, guys, for the experience!

My husband and I always seek out locally owned restaurants when traveling, and we were delighted to discover this hidden gem last night. We chose to sit at the bar, where we enjoyed a couple of drinks along with the chargrilled oysters. Having tried them at many places, I can confidently say these were the best—perfectly balanced with garlic, cheese, and a rich smoky flavor.

We also ordered the stuffed blackened redfish (a special not listed on the menu), topped with a creamy crawfish sauce and served with crab-boiled potatoes smothered in the same sauce. Every bite was exceptional.

The service was attentive, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the restaurant itself was very clean and well-kept. Overall, it was an outstanding dining experience and one we would highly recommend.

Went for dinner and was blown away by the very friendly wait staff and kitchen crew as we were seated through the restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and well organized. We loved the great happy hour prices, and the Shrimp Feast and Catfish Loozianne was amazing and warmed our souls. Wow! Very impressed!
