We had such a great experience at Izumi Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar! Our server Cristal was amazing super kind, attentive, and always had a smile . She made sure we had everything we needed and explained the menu with patience and care.

The food was delicious, the steak was tender and flavorful, and the vegetables and rice were perfectly cooked .
Big shout-out to the hibachi chef, too — he made the whole experience so much fun with his energy and great cooking skills ‍ ✨.

Definitely coming back! Highly recommend

What a great hibachi place. We got there early so got in right away. When we left around 730pm it was packed. It was my grand daughters birthday, so for an extra $15 they sing, give light up glasses and give you a cake. The service is great. Food is very good.

Been coming here probably 15 years and consistently, I would have to give it top of the list. Out of the many hibachi places I’ve been all over the country, surprisingly, this place, right here in good old Bradentucky, gets top pick. Excellent triple combo, filet, lobster, scallop. They don’t go cheap on you like a lot of Asian places. Proteins are hooked up, nice portions, awesome all the way around.

Every month I order at least twice and o always order the same exact thing . However, I have never received my Hawaii roll as described ( never , EVER ) came with seaweed on my howaii roll . In fact , I had to buy separate seaweed salad and they never got the hint that they don’t put the ingredient where it supposed to be : ON THE HAWAII ROLL I ORDERED . Other than the bad faith I had experienced, what I receive is pretty good for the price .

First time here, it wasn’t busy, sat right away! Guessing it was because ot was a Monday after New Yeara weekend. Food was good, salmon was slightly overdone, chicken, steak and shrimp were cooked to everyone’s liking. The rice needed more butter, it was a bit dry. The portions were generous as well! They did offer a military discount, which was appreciated and we returned most of the discount as a tip. They do include 18% tip for large groups, so be mindful of that when you get your bill. It is stated on the menu as well, so it wasn’t a surprise to us. I wish they wouldn’t do that, but it is what it is.

Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, the chef was nice, not as interactive compared to other places, but he was nice and had fun. We will return and recommend this place to others looking for hibachi experience!

My boyfriend and I had Dinner at Izumi recently and had a very decent experience. The unlimited sushi is $28/pp. It comes with soup and salad to start, I wouldn’t recommend. The ginger salad was watery and questionable. The sushi! Super beautifully created. Seriously, the chefs did well, each roll looked gorgeous. Overall rolls however, lacked flavor. For $28, we expected a cup of ice cream included at the end, but it costed extra. The service was terrible, we had dinner around 8:45, but our server had us and one other table but we waited a good 15 mins just to grab him for the check. Atmosphere super mid. Bradenton definitely has better sushi spots for more appropriate prices than Izumi has to offer.

I came here tonight with my family for dinner. The host decided to sit us (mind you I have a baby in a car seat) at the fullest table in the building where we were met with distasteful looks as we approached our seats most likely because we’re a small black family approaching a table filled with white people. I got my daughter’s attention because now I’m uncomfortable and I want to leave. As we were leaving I let the hostess know why in which she totally blew me off. Besides the mean stares why would you cram us at a table that only had 4 seats available when there were tables with plenty of room? I loved this place now I have to find someplace else who understands the importance of both serving good food and seating guests properly.
