The service was excellent. Our waitress was nice and checked on us often. However the food was not great. The sausage, biscuits and hash browns were burnt. Eggs were overcooked. The only good was the hot Carmel apple cider.

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast where we were greeted with a warm smile from a server, who was hosting as well.
She showed us to our seat and remained at a fast pace while also holding great conversation. Our food was good but the service was even better! We went up to pay our bill where once again we were greeted by our server who was quick to cash us out and wish us safe travels. I’ll for sure be coming back with my family and asking for Alayna to be our server every time!!

Food was good/flavorful. Only complaint I have…. the vegetables in my beef vegetable soup were like mush. Soup had great flavor just the veggies were so mushy like baby food. Everything else was delicious though. We were greeted by a smiling upbeat Hostess and our server Ryan was incredible! All in all , great place for a meal!

It has been a while since I have been at this establishment. They have always had great food and service in the past. However, not this time!!
We stood waiting to be waited on for about 15 minutes while there were plenty of open tables. When we finally got our table, we did receive our water right away and then our drinks. It took another 20 minutes for them to take our order.
The table that came in after us got their food about 10 minutes before we did.
We both ordered steak tips, which has always been awesome in the past!!! This time, it was awful. We both got an awful lot of mushrooms and onions. However, the steak was about 5 to 7 small pieces each!! Lot of money for a small amount!!

Very good service. Their honey bacon was delicious and the value bowl thing I got was good. My wife had the protein bowl and enjoyed that. I also got an order of biscuits and gravy and I wasn’t very impressed with that. The gravy was super dark (as you can see in the picture) and almost tasted like a beef gravy, and the sausage was super crumbled vs chunks. Overall nice place but not as good as the one I went to in big rapids.

Best food I’ve ever had in a Bob Evans. The waitress has pretty good hustle to her. Sadly, they were so short staffed that we had to wait 10 minutes even through half the tables were empty. I’m not allowing that to affect the review because everyone working there was busting their butts to make it happen.

The service was awful! And there was no excuse for it because we were one of only four tables at the time. They had one waiter doing all four tables. Our waiter forgot to bring us out a side that we had ordered. I ordered 1 buttermilk pancake and there was clearly some blueberry residue on my pancake (1 blueberry was in my pancake). When I told our waiter he took it back to the kitchen but ended up bringing it back saying that this was indeed a buttermilk pancake. The proper protocol, if the customer isn’t happy with what they ordered, is to remake the food, not tell them that it’s actually right. Ridiculous. Our waiter never checked on us once the entire time we were there. Never asked us once how everything was or if we needed anything. Not only did they seriously screw up our order but the tables around us were audibly upset too with their service. The one waiter forgot to take someone’s order and they messed up the food at someone else’s table. It was insane how bad the experience was for not only us but everyone in the restaurant. Since our waiter never once checked on us, but had time to chat with a different customer for 5 minutes, we had to ask for our check. Needless to say I will never step foot in this establishment ever again.

Seems good help is hard to find.
Ordered food for pick up when off work. Food was ready and packed, already paid for directly through Bob Evans platform. Not even a handful of cars in parking lot, but at minimum 5 people made eye contact and didn’t say or do anything. They’re just hanging out. They weren’t closing, it was 715pm. Just come hand the to the customer so the poorly packed Luke warm food can be on its way.
As you can see in the photos (all taken before eating) half a spoon of soup in the cup, could have used more Mac n cheese in the entree. Most the food needed reheated.
Not worth returning for us.

We came back twice in one week because the service and food was exceptional!! Our server was so sweet and took the time for us to look at the menu. Our food was served hot and so was the coffee. We will definitely go back when we are in the petoskey area. Thank you Bob Evans for all you do !!! Petoskey Bob Evans Rocks!!

This place served tasty food with love. The atmosphere was very cozy and friendly. It awakened my childhood memories of happy meal times and inspired me to order menu items that I normally restrict myself in eating. On top of that they were open to tweak some of their recipes to satisfy our requests. We enjoyed our food a lot. I absolutely loved the place!
