Visiting Richmond for the Half.
Stopped by Mr. Submarine on W Broad St — it’s drive-thru only. I grabbed a Grilled Chicken Hot Sub with a house salad and ate at the outdoor tables since I was starving.
The sub was decent and had a lot of chicken. Salad was simple (lettuce + olives), but fine. Overall, solid quick-service spot and it hits the job when you’re hungry. Thanks.

Really gone downhill. Worst steak and cheese I’ve ever had. No cheese. Dry steak. 20 minute drive through wait. Staff is friendly though. Generous French fry portions.

Only able to go through drive thur but it’s worth it. The subs are amazing. Best in Richmond in my opinion. My go to sub is the grilled chicken all the way, with extra toasted roll. OH MY GOODNESS!! So friggin good. Also, I get the steak now cheese with fried onions. It dont get no better. Also, when you order fries, its literally enough for 2 or 3 people. They give you a bag of fries. The people are friendly. The prices have gotten a bit high, but no worse then anywhere else and the food is absolutely fresh and worth it. If u havn’t tried them, I would 100% recommend .

The best ‘fast food’ restaurant in town. The food is quick, but far from junk. Everything I’ve ordered has been fantastic, and even though it is drive-thru, the service is fantastic! They are always friendly and will remember you even if you only pop through every once in a while. Anytime that I have enough money for a great quick bite, I go here. The bread is fantastic, every protien is pilled high, and the amount of fries they give you is a meal in its own right! Please go here as much as you can, they are a family-owned business, and you can tell by the love they put in the food

I’m not sure who was on the grill today but give them a raise!! My food was superb!! French fries were hot, fresh, and seasoned to perfection! My steak and cheese was delicious!! Bread was fresh, steak was great!! I was extremely pleased with my visit today!!!

Had not been there in a year price went up and sandwich was thrown together and bun not covered with condiments or meat. I was disappointed and the price shocked me. $12.47 for sub only. Customer service was excellent!

First visit and never noticed it was down the street from my job!! I will be returning for the fresh subs!! Very fresh meat..very fresh rolls best I have since been here in Richmond not hard and stale like Wawa.. and other places. Not overly filled and sloppy to eat!! Love them and the customer service was impeccable and a lovely change from what we are and experience today.. dive thru only makes sense and safe for every single person and controlled and moves fast the line was long which means what???!?! THE FOOD IS GREAT!! A must try… I had the turkey and cheese sub combo well worth the price .. the sub is big!! And did I say fresh!!?

First time and kinda irritated. I got 3 subs at 10.99 as listed on the menu and somehow my total was $39.14. Taxes aren’t that much so what’s going on? There was no tip. I’m not going back after spending $40 on 3 subs without anything else on the side and undisclosed additional prices. If you change your prices, change the prices on your menu at the drive thru

I love trying steak and cheeses but just recently moved to Glen Allen and became closer to Mr. Sub. I remember they have a drive thru, making it even more convenient! The wait wasn’t long at all, lined moved fast and yet the food was fresh!
