I had a superb experience at La Grotta on Main Street.
The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. The staff were absolutely superb — so kind, attentive, and welcoming. They truly made our Valentine’s Day dinner worth every cent.
I loved the romantic music and décor; it created such a warm and intimate setting. From the moment we walked in, the greeting at the door was so sweet — it felt like we had known each other for years.

Had such a lovely dinner here! The servers were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, funny, and genuinely sweet. They made us feel so well taken care of throughout the entire meal.
The Vongole con Vino was beautifully fragrant. The white wine aroma was very noticeable and complemented the natural sweetness of the clams perfectly. So delicious. I just wish they offered some bread to soak up the sauce because it was that good.
The bruschetta was honestly the highlight of the night. I have not had an impressive bruschetta like this for so long. The oil was wonderfully infused with tomato and garlic. It was flavourful but not overpowering, and not greasy at all. The focaccia was crunchy and flaky, which made every bite so satisfying.
The Capricciosa pizza was loaded with prosciutto, artichokes, mushrooms, and mozzarella. There was so much cheese. It was perfectly melted, ooey-gooey, and stretchy. The toppings worked beautifully together. It was flavourful and layered, yet surprisingly light and not heavy at all. I loved it.
The Risotto di Mari came in a hearty portion. It was packed with grilled tiger shrimp, lobster tail, and mussels. The lobster tail was meaty and generous in size. However, the lobster and shrimp were slightly overcooked and the rice was a bit softer and mushier than I personally prefer. The creamy Sauvignon blanc sauce paired wonderfully with the seafood and brought everything together nicely.
Mocktail was $6 each. You cannot beat this price.

I visited this Italian restaurant last Thursday with my friends, and we were all so impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with warm lighting and a classic Italian vibe. It felt like the perfect place to relax, enjoy good food, and have great conversations. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We started with grilled calamari, Caesar salad, and bruschetta. Everything was delicious, but the Caesar salad was the star creamy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The grilled calamari was tender with amazing flavor. For our mains, I ordered the pasta Carbonara, and my friends ordered Fettuccini Romano, Risotto di Mare, and Spaghetti Pescatore. We also shared a Puttanesca pizza. The whole table enjoyed their food.
Overall, the food was fresh, delicious, and well prepared. Combined with the cozy atmosphere and great service, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you love authentic Italian food!

We visited one of our absolute favorite restaurants, La Grota on Main, for an early dinner with my husband, and it was a wonderful experience as always. We ordered the Risotto di Mare and the Spinach Pasta with chicken and sausage, and it was truly outstanding — great presentation, rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying. The portion size was generous, the seafood was fresh and juicy, and the presentation was beautifully done, making the dish as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate. From start to finish, we both thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and left feeling delighted and impressed. It was an evening well spent with delicious food and great company.

My friends chose this spot for my birthday celebration and it absolutely exceeded expectations. Sebastian took such great care of us all evening—attentive without being intrusive, and you could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a memorable night.

We highly recommend this restaurant. Sebastian (the Owner/Chef/Host) is attentive & charming, the decor is cozy, old world Mediterranean with upholstered high-back chairs and tablecloths. Most importantly, the food is delicious! I meet my friends there 3 or 4 times a year for long relaxed lunches, and we all agree that everything we’ve had there is fresh and flavourful. We always start with their bruschetta, which is fantastic. I love getting their Ceasar salad and scrumptious pizzas … so generous, I can take half of it to work to share. My co-workers are blown away by the quality!
