Smokin Barrel Barbeque – New Pal
We ate at Benito One today and it was absolutely phenomenal. The chicken parmigiana was hands-down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The Alfredo was incredibly rich and decadent, the kind you keep thinking about long after the meal is over.

What truly set the experience apart was the service. It was personal, warm, and genuinely amazing — you can tell they care deeply about their guests. From the food to the atmosphere to the hospitality, everything was top-notch. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend Benito One to anyone looking for an outstanding meal.

It was a bit of a surprise to find this place, cause usually it’s always a tourist trap. But this place is SO GOOD!
While the place is very tiny, is so cozy, Italian and magical.
The food served is truly Italian with such nice flavors and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is great with great music and big windows to little Italy.
The service is great with excellent recommendations.
Definitely would recommend to try the chicken piccata, the Alfredo and of course a delicious Tiramisu!!!
Loved it!

Traditional Italian restaurant. The pastas tasted amazing and the price is fair. The waiter was awesome, and super nice. The food is made fresh, and comes very hot. We ordered Veal Parm (comes with pasta), penne vodka and gnocchi carbonara. Their carbonara sauce is very well known, and delicious! Strongly recommend!!!

Let me start by saying this ruined me to any other place. I had lasagna, and it was incredible. The service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. Had some great classics playing. I tried some of the other dishes, and they were incredible as well. The chicken parmesan was some of the best I have ever had. Don’t pass this place up. It has history, great food, and great service. See you all next trip.

Lovely experience. Benito One serves up authentic Italian entrees with tastes and flavors that are unmatched. My go-to place to get away & enjoy dining experiences that transport you to a special space, so welcoming and festive with delicious eats. A special shout out to Cristian. Your hospitality was exceptional.
Thank you

We only walked into this place because a guy outside was aggressively inviting us in, telling a story about how his grandmother used to cook here. After tasting the food, I can believe she might have cooked here — a very long time ago — but clearly none of her cooking skills were passed on.

The food was horrible.
The pasta was completely overcooked, the sauce was a disaster, and overall it felt like food from the cheapest tourist trap, not a proper restaurant in New York. This place may be run by Italians, but with no class or experience in cooking whatsoever.

The drinks were just as bad — low-level, poorly made, like something you’d get at a roadside dive. I didn’t even finish mine.

I didn’t eat the food either, and the staff showed zero interest in whether we liked anything or not. No questions, no care, nothing.

To make it worse, they charged us an extra $20 plus $8 for “excellent service”, which is simply a pure joke, because there was absolutely nothing excellent about the service.

Strongly not recommended. Avoid this place at all costs. Total tourist trap.

This is a really good Italian restaurant! The waiters, the owner, the decoration, the music, the atmosphere, the aromas, the surroundings, the menu. You feel like you are in a little town in the south of Italy. The seafood meals are very fresh and tasty, and the pastas and sauces and exquisite. Waiters were really friendly and treated us very well. I would come back every day just to try their different dishes.
