I used to come here a lot for dinner but took a break a few months back. I’ve visited twice since November/December and I’ve noticed the service has gotten much better and the wait times are shorter. More often than not my order is correct. (I typically use the drive-thru)
I like to order through the app for convenience and I do get asked to pull forward. I don’t mind because it’s never more than a 5-10 minute wait and my food is always piping hot. I’m not hard to please, just give me hot and fresh food.
My most recent visit was stellar, so I wanted to take the time to leave a review and give the staff props. Everyone was hustling, the drive thru was moving, and my food was correct (and delicious).

Very unprofessional and consistently poor service.
We had another extremely unpleasant experience at this Popeyes. At 5:46 PM, employees told us we were not allowed to enter the store because “only drive-thru was open,” even though the restaurant does not close until 11 PM.
They were rude from the start and offered no explanation or apology. When we were told they were out of chicken tenders, they insisted we cancel our order entirely, without offering any food substitutions or even the drink that was already included in the order.
This is not an isolated incident. We keep giving this location chances, and each time we’re met with the same lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and unwillingness to help. If you value respectful service and transparency, I would strongly recommend avoiding this location.

This Popeyes is great. Its clean decorations are beautiful. The chicken was delicious, hot and fresh. It was worth the wait. The managers and the crew are extremely nice very professional and pleasant. Some Popeyes do not have this. So I am extremely grateful to come to this pleasant place to get great service and great food. You’ll are awesome thank you

To be honest this is first time I have ever been disappointed in a Popeyes. $15.89 for mashed potatoes and 3 so called classic tenders. The tenders are FLAT and OVERCOOKED! You would think the manager which is the one who took my order would have known better than this.

I got take-out. Went home. Opened the box What a rip-off! 21.49 for the five small chicken wings two sides and one breast. That’s eight pieces of chicken from Popeyes. Cold and old too! Never going back.

The cashier who took our order, truly looked and gave “Don’t really want to be here today” vibe & attitude. I personally work in the customer service field for over 30 yrs, and let me tell you, it’s not for everybody. She made us feel like we were a bother for coming in. And as we sat down, people next to us happened to complain about similar feeling. Overall, sad that such great food, because it truly was very good, is served by a person who does not respect their customers nor knows how to properly engage with their customers. This particular person lacks professionalism.

ordered online, spent 35$ and they didnt have half the sides i actually ordered, they forgot my sandwiches and even though i called to let them know before i came back, they still took about an hour to get them out to me! i dont know what was going on cause usually this location is great, but this time they really let the ball drop. food 2 stars cus the pie (i received an apple though i ordered strawberry and cream) was really good still

There is always an issue at this location. I don’t why I keep thinking it will get better. Today I came and they locked the door and told me to cancel my order they are now closed at 5:30 pm on a Saturday. This place needs completely new management and some serious training on how to run a restaurant. I will never return and will always boycott this location go to Zaxbys instead.

If I could give no stars I would literally the worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to ever who ever the manager and the cashier on 10/31/2025 at 12:18 lunch time should not work there. They have only half the items on the menu. The cashier was rude at best and not speaking or communicating anything she didn’t even tell me the total of my food before taking my card and I’m sure the manager heard her with each customer being short and dismissive….close that one down and build a new one …or just do like I should have ..go to KFC…it’s a block over….smh

I was at the Lake city, Florida Popeyes on Friday 10/31/2025 around 4:30 pm. I live 20 miles away and received the wrong order., which I did not eat. I called the store and was told to bring the receipt the next day to Shrondra the manager. I was not told to bring the food back. Shrondra upon approach was very confrontational and I was asked “what do you want me to do about it replace the meal?” I stated, “sure because I got totally the wrong order.” She then said “It is my policy not to replace the meal without returning the wrong order.” She scolded me in front of 10 people at the counter. She then continued to box my chicken and threw it on the counter. She did not replace the sides. I was scared at your establishment. She is a scary person and should not be representing your company name.
