Wow what a beautiful experience at a legendary hotel and restaurant! Me and my girlfriend were celebrating her birthday and as it turned out her birthday was the same date as when the Hotel burned down in 1913 and again in 1973 both times at 9pm. And wouldn’t you know it we were there at between 7pm and 9pm. We ordered the incredible New Zealand rack of Lamb Chops which was exquisite for her and for myself the best Lake Superior Whitefish I’ve EVER had! Kirsty was out waiter and she was very cool with is and gave above and beyond service! It was great to see some other guy Also celebrating a birthday as well which always feels nice! After reading some history of the ghosts that I’ve heard about that haunted the Holly Hotel, we did smell unexpected cigar smoke which was said to have come from a man killed or that died in the Hotel! We got a nice tour of the hotel in many of it’s great rooms and downstairs bar! And to top it all off our bill was even the same date at her birthday at 1/19/2022!!! This was the ultimate dining experience! Will most definitely be back

I really miss the Holly Hotel, especially this time of year. They always had the most wonderful Halloween and Christmas experiences. We loved the food and ambience here and the comedy club in the basement was a fun and affordable night out for everyone. The person that blocked them from rebuilding after the fire should be ashamed for taking this wonderful restaurant from the community. Shame on you!

Restaurant was amazing. Expensive, but well worth the price for the food quality and the experience. We ate in the train room, then went down to the Alley Cat Club in the basement for a show. (Beware, the club is MEMBERS AND GUESTS ONLY, we didn’t know and the signs/website only have tiny little print, lucky my friend is a member.) Both our wait staff: Stella upstairs, and Hannah downstairs, were absolutely amazing. Always on the spot with drinks and service, and great people to talk to also.

My baby shower was hosted at the Holly Hotel. I was blown away by the service and the delicious food. Their chicken strudel was out of this world! The setup was classy and the staff was tentative and kind. They are able to print personal menus, make extra desserts, and present a classic environment for hosting. Such a great day and a great place to host an event!

I can’t praise this place enough! The crown jewel of holly. I’ve taken my wife here numerous times and I’m not stopping anytime soon. Always impeccable service and mouthwatering cuisine, always made in-house. Plus so many events every month that’s fun for the whole family! I hardly evergive 5 star ratings but the prestigious Holly Hotel is a solid 5 ⭐’s

Atmosphere was calm and relaxing. For a moment I was able to see what it would have been like in 1891 and dining there. The food was good. A little to much dressing on my Caesar salad and my pork belly was a little dry but the flavor was great. The scallops were amazing. They also have a dining club that we may join when we go back.

This Saint Patrick’s day ☘ the wife and I wanted a new experience So,we decided to treat ourselves by visiting the Holly Hotel for dinner and drinks. We had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, professional and personable. So, if your looking for a new experience i highly recommend this one as it has it all. From talks of it being haunted to being a place where The president and 1st lady once wined and dined themselves.

Great spot to go if you want a fancy dinner experience. Kind of similar experience to the Whitney in Detroit.

We got liver paté, Victoria onion soup, and stuffed game hen. It was all fantastic and so were the cocktails

The basement has a jazz/comedy show venue. There are rotating shows every weekend, and they serve a different menu of foods plus have a full bar. I had a great time, and I honestly drank too much to drive. It’s not easy to get an Uber in Holly, but I got a ride home from my girlfriend’s brother. Great guy, I give him 5 stars also.

What a lovely place to visit! Some friends and I went there for the Queen Anne’s Tea luncheon. The amount of food we got for $19 was incredible, and the chicken strudel entree was particularly delicious! The service was fabulous, and the atmosphere was charming. We’ll definitely be back!
