I’ve been to Pho Vietnam a few times before, but my recent visit was disappointing. The quality and customer service have gone downhill, and $27 for one bowl of pho wasn’t worth it. I don’t mind paying $27 or even more if the quality and service are good. They were also only accepting cash, which was inconvenient. It’s not the same as it used to be.

Just tried this place for the first time, and it really hit the spot! The pho was amazing—so much flavor in the broth and plenty of meat. The broth was well-seasoned, and the fresh noodles and side dishes gave off that comforting, homemade vibe. The Pad Thai was super tasty, and the avocado slush? So refreshing! They keep the menu small and prices low, which is a win. Food came out really quick, too.

The dining area is spacious and clean, plus they take credit and debit cards. Oh, and they offer a 10% discount if you pay cash, so it’s a good idea to bring some extra cash to save a bit.

The service wasn’t that good. After being to so many Vietnamese places in Toronto you’re get so used to welcoming nature of their culture. However the experience here wasn’t that good, it was more transactional.

Excellent Pho. I had grilled chicken in chicken broth. I also had vegetarian spring rolls and they were very good and different from any other spring roll I’ve had. This place is no frills and unassuming. Very fast service and food arrival.

No wonder this place is below 4 stars. Now I see why.
The service was indeed not warm not friendly. The seats were not comfortable.
Biggest issue was the CP ratio. The food quality was noticeable lower than average. Meat and noodles were both lower quality. Noodles was one of those dry and cheaper brand. Meat was lean and tasteless. Soup was plain. I don’t really have good thing to say about about this restaurant.
But here is the ticker. The price is actually on the higher than peers. Even the cheapest noodles soup offered here was close to $20.
Overall is not horrible, but I will not recommend this restaurant to others.

I agree with everyone who experienced a BAD customer service in here. The food is okay but compared to the other Pho that we had eaten in Scarborough, this is very basic! The lady was very rude, the food is more expensive compared to the other Pho. When we arrived, I was wondering why the place is empty, now I know why. It is not worth it to come here.

Ridiculously expensive! $17.99 for SMALL Pho now! Tastes good but definitely not worth it. Take out containers are too small and they don’t give enough meat and sauces. Skip this place and hit up one of the Pho chain restaurants for a better value.

We are here hoping that it would be good since it is local. It was okay. The soup was decent, and so were the spring rolls. The deep fried squid was terrible. It tasted like deep fried nothing. They need to work on their taste profile since there are a lot of really good viet restos in the area.

My recent visit to Pho Vietnam was deeply disappointing across every operational dimension. The experience highlighted significant service issues, structural concerns, and fundamental failures in food quality and customer care.

The service was notably poor. Staff routinely ignored customers upon entry and throughout the visit. A server misinterpreted a straightforward order, declined to acknowledge the mistake, and responded in a manner that suggested irritation rather than accountability. Requests for additional bean sprouts and mint were met with visible hostility, creating an uncomfortable dining environment.

Operational deficiencies were equally concerning. Seating consisted of hard, uncomfortable chairs with no regard for guest comfort. The restaurant played music that clashed with the dining theme, and the TV ran ads continuously without being skipped. Staff refused to change the channel despite reasonable requests. Video playback contained gaps every few seconds, creating an erratic and distracting atmosphere.

Food service was poorly coordinated. The main dish arrived only after an extended delay, and the appetizer was served after the meal was already finished. The beef pho, ordered with extra beef, arrived with only two small pieces, which was far below expectation.

Physical conditions raised additional red flags. The layout included a barrier directly in front of the entrance that was easy to collide with. There were visible holes in the walls, signs of unstable interior construction, and multiple areas that appeared to require reinforcement. Locating the bathroom was a challenge due to a lack of signage, and once inside, the stall had no functional lock.

Overall, Pho Vietnam demonstrated major issues in service quality, food execution, environment, and basic facility management. These deficiencies made the experience substandard and frustrating. At this time, I cannot recommend this establishment.
