Wonderful experience! We were greeted and seated quickly. Nice variety on the menu. We got our order very fast. It was hot, great tasting, and large portions. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back when we return to St. Augustine.

Barefoot Bill’s Island Grill is a hidden gem! The burgers are absolutely stand-out—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If you’re a burger lover, this is your spot.
The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, making the experience even better. The atmosphere is a little unique since it’s tucked away at the end of an indoor shopping alley, but that adds to its charm. Plus, there are lots of TVs, so it’s a great place to catch a game while enjoying your meal.
It’s also a bit off the water, which made it easier to get in during a busy day—no long waits, just great food.
Oh, and did I mention the burgers? Seriously, they’re worth the trip!

Worse “food ever”. Nobody ate their food. They liost the original order . Waited an additional 55 minutes for the liost. order. Overcharged even after a small discount. DO NOT EAT here unless you enjoy food poisoning. Manager Danielle was worthless

My husband and I came to this restaurant 2 times while on vacation in St. Augustine. The first time was ok…the second time we encountered these two great waitresses. They were amazing! Amanda and Danielle. The owner of this establishment should be well pleased with these women. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back our next vacation.

The fried pickles mozzarella sticks and iced tea is amazing. Service was mostly good but one server mixed up some of our meals. We sat outside and loved the atmosphere. But the beer is advertised as 20 ounce even though they serve it in 16 ounce. We complained and they said they ran out of bigger cups and we had to ask for more which they have to us.

The food was pretty good all around. No one had complaints. I had the jerk burger with small portion of fries. Found it a little over done and had a mild jerk spice to it. I was hoping for a real Jamaica jerk and it was close. Decent beer selection on tap. We enjoyed some of the VA stout on tap. The folks working were welcoming to our group of 10 with few tables available.

Forgot to write this review because my friend and I were tipsy and had just been to a funeral and life is hard- this is for September. Let me tell you: Tamika was the best waitress ever. My friend and I ordered two baskets of mozzarella sticks. Zero judgement from Tamika. In fact, she thought it was funny and shared plenty of laughs with us. The cheese? Superb, and laid on cabbage to separate the oil. Genius. 100/10 experience. Tamika if you still work here, you’re my favorite server of all time and you deserve a raise. Much love! Also the floor was clean which was awesome considering it was in the evening downtown. If you know you know!

JUICIEST BURGER
Idk why some people are saying their burgers were over cooked, my Calypso Burger was made very well! I squeezed It, and It just oozed goodness.
I didn’t realize you had to seat yourself so that took me a second, but once seated outside we were quickly greeted. We unfortunately couldn’t stay long due to other plans we had, however the server was nice enough to bring our check immediately with to-go boxes and bags. Their beers are cold and the vibes are perfect for a hot summer day. ☀️ highly recommend & will definitely visit again!!
