Had the Texas BBQ sandwich, it was really good though a bit messy (get lots of napkins!). Baked beans with pork were really good. Fries were on point, definitely recommend. Friend said the pit beef was on point as well. All the sauces were good, and I liked the California Gold the best. Note they do have seating but it will fill up quick (1 big high table and 2 smaller, a few booths) when busy.

Fast food BBQ. Took us about a minute to get two great sandwiches, fries, and balsamic pasta salad. Sandwiches were under $10 and great values. Big portions and great flavor. Got the Carolina pulled pork and the Italian sausage. Was here about 6 pm on July 4 and ate in. Pretty empty. Brought leftovers home.

Went to grab a bite. Staff were friendly and fast. Was there during off peak hours and was able to snag a table. Beef was perfect and the fries were crisp and piping hot. Grabbed two sandwiches to go.

Decided to try Bayside Bull and here are my thoughts:
The pit beef sandwich was decent , but lukewarm and lacked the char we are accustomed to at places like Chaps .
Fries were really good but I was surprised they didn’t have brown gravy.
Going to try Pioneer next.

The food here is excellent without question. You will be waited on very quickly. The only negative but I have discovered in two visits is their sweet tea is a little too sweet easily remedied by putting a very small amount of unsweetened tea in your cup first before filling it with the sweet tea and you will have perfection. The North Carolina pulled pork is exceptional and you will probably choose not to add one of the many flavors of sauce to it. It was so good I wouldn’t dare put coleslaw or any sauce on it to detract from the North Carolina sauce that it was cooked with. On the pit beef you will get exactly what you asked for whether it be bloody rare or medium well. I highly recommend this convenient and fast served pleasurable experience.
