My friend and I came into Blue Sushi we were immediately greeted by lovely staff with colorful Xmas wear! (PS. Let them wear more festive things in the holiday! It uplifts everyone’s spirits!) We were given a seat immediately, incredible service from the waiter and supporting staff. The drinks were phenomenal, the apps; delicious, the entree; impecable! I can’t wait to come back! I was also incredibly impressed with the attention to detail with the vegan and gluten-free options they had as my friend needed the alternatives. Will be back again soon! ❤

I’ve always loved blue sushi and I regularly order take out from them all the time and my dining experience tonight proved I should’ve just stuck to takeout. Service was nothing special, very mid. The sushi is always up to my standards as well, but this time the sashimi was extremely thin and small. I pointed it out to the waiter and showed her my pictures of what it usually looks like when I order takeout, and she just said they’re improperly sliced and they’re supposed to be very thin. But I looked at the photos in the reviews of other customers, and they’re for sure a lot noticeably bigger than what was put on my table. I’ve been to expensive sushi places like Nobu, and I get better pieces than that for the SAME PRICE. I was shocked when it was put on the table. I mean for almost 20$, I got five little pieces of salmon smaller than my pinky. It’s just insulting to be serving this to customers, and I’m disappointed because I was especially excited for the sashimi. In other words, there’s just other places that will give you better portions and services in return for your money. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be dining in here again.

I’ll start by saying I’m not typically a sushi guy, and this wasn’t my pick for dinner — but I’m really glad we went.

We had a table reserved for six for an after-work dinner with our Discount Tire team, and only four of us ended up making it. Having spent many years in the restaurant business myself, I understand how valuable table space and timing are, so I immediately apologized to our waitress for the no-shows. She wouldn’t even let me worry about it. She was warm, professional, and reassured me it was absolutely no problem.

Her service was outstanding. She checked in regularly without ever being intrusive, my drink was refilled before it ever got low, and when I mispronounced something on the menu, she kindly corrected me in a way that was helpful and never uncomfortable.

The atmosphere was excellent — welcoming, comfortable, and perfect for conversation. I wish I had written down her name because she truly deserves recognition. I’m hoping management can identify who was working last night because she represented the restaurant beautifully.

Even though sushi isn’t usually my thing, I would absolutely come back if invited again. Fantastic experience all around.

I’m not sure if happy hour has anything to do with the taste or the sloppiness of my order. I’ve ordered from here before and I’m disappointed. The rolls fell apart, the rice is overcooked and they don’t look appetizing or appealing. I really tried and it wasn’t as good as usual. The cucumbers were big and the VLT didn’t have any avocado just cucumbers. I don’t mind spending money on food that’s worth it. I spent $80 and it was not worth it. The miso soup was great as well the cherry bomb but that’s it.

Some of the best sushi I’ve had. Everything is always fresh and delicious and the service is quick, attentive, and friendly. The happy hour deal has plenty of options as well! I make it a point to stop by every time I’m in town.

Very nice environment and service. The niguiris we tried were very good. Vegan makis: spicy kaluna crunch was nice. Vegan Philadelphia was alright, nothing that some additives can’t fix. Truffle Salmon sashimi is strongly recommended. Seared sake Toro niguiris as well. Overall it was a good experience. Very good menu selection. Would come back to try other rolls and niguiris.

Love Blue Sushi! Chocolate spring rolls are a must for every visit. Fantastic vegetarian options too! The Prince roll and Thai Hippie are my go tos.

Trendy spot but their sushi rolls are far from authentic. First of all they used some kind of sticky rice instead of sushi rice, and then the rice is unflavored (it needs to be mixed with rice vinegar). The rolls also used cilantro as a spice which is a no no in Japanese cuisine. The price point for these rolls are quite high for the size they come in.

My daughter and I went for the vegan sushi. There was so much to try and everything was delicious! We loved the cowgirl roll and the Thai basil roll, as well as the charred edamame! Very nice atmosphere and friendly service as well, with a great selection of refreshing drinks and teas.
