My husband and I stopped here for lunch while traveling through the area. We were welcomed and seated right away by a friendly hostess/waitress. We both ordered Suchado de Pescado – a delicious mild tilapia with a flavorful sauce of tomatoes, peppers and onions. It came with generous side dish portions of rice and fried sweet plantains. Great food, excellent service!

First and last time eating here. I’m extremely disappointed. Be very careful what you order—especially if it’s something you haven’t tried here before. I ordered the sausage soup, but when it arrived, it was full of blood sausage. Nowhere on the menu did it mention that their “sausage” is actually blood sausage. I told the server I don’t eat that, and her response? “That’s our sausage,” and she refused to replace it. She said once the food leaves the kitchen, you either eat it, take it to go, or pay for it anyway. Completely unfair, especially when the menu doesn’t clearly state what you’re getting. I left frustrated, unsatisfied, and with a dish I couldn’t eat. Never going back.

What a pleasant surprise! We decided to try Barzola II despite mixed reviews, and the food was simply DIVINE. The encebollado and chupe mixto were incredible, and the portions are huge! Excellent service rounded out a perfect meal. Definitely recommend!

10 people went early and had an amazing meal! The food was sooo big and delicious. Best chicharron ever. Service was great too. The menu is huge probably take 20 trips to try everthing.

I do not know that I have to pickup Spanish to be able to order food in this State. It seems normal for the staff in this restaurant. Not for me. In all fairness I have not tried the food yet that I am going to pickup.

I went this Saturday and had a fritada. It didn’t look as good, it was very dry. And I grabbed it to go, I got home open and I cut the meat and it was raw inside.

Food good (I little bit expensive), but worth it, atmosphere was okay, but poor service, I think the waitress was new, she didn’t had not customer services skills at all, not friendly, not personality (She was from Nicaragua I didn’t catch her name)
If it wasn’t for the tip being included she wouldn’t make any kind of money for being so cold.
