SO GOOD! I had the Ribs and Chicken for the first time and I’ll definitely be getting them again. Along with the spinach and vegetables, I had enough food for at least two meals.
The staff was friendly and welcoming upon entering. The service was quick at the counter. And the portions were more than I expected. If you’re in the area and looking for rotisserie chicken with excellent flavor, look no further than Chicken Rico.

Chicken Rico’s is my favorite Peruvian chicken location in the Waldorf area. I always get chicken and fries but recently tried the chicken and steak sub and it was delicious. Lots of meat. I only ate half. The staff is friendly and they recently renovated this location so it looks amazing. They have the best yellow sauce too. Give them a try. They don’t disappoint.

First time in but definitely would be back. Kinda a old style buffet/cafe where you would order and most things are ready already but some things are made up in the back. Lots of fresh side options. Definitely enjoyed the sauces. Good quality food and lots of flavor.
Unfortunately the acoustics made it noisy with a few groups enjoying their night out.

I love this place! I don’t know why I don’t visit more often. The food is always delicious and the portions are huge! And it’s actually very economical. Dinner for two at any fast food place is usually $20+ these days. Dinner for two here was about $30. And the food was a lot better.

I submitted a prepaid catering order for three whole chickens and select sides. In the special note/directions section of the order form, I requested that the chickens and plantains not be packaged prior to arrival for pick-up. My intention was to receive fresh chickens that were the correct quantity. When the person I designated to pick up the order arrived, everything was packaged. She noted the instructions on the order form not to package the chickens prior to arrival. The person behind the counter assured her that they had “just” packaged the order. This order was for a luncheon with 12 guests. When she arrived and I checked the order, it was clear that the chicken had been sitting for some time and the quantity was incorrect. If your order includes three whole chickens to be cut into eight pieces, you should receive the following distribution: 6 wings, 6 breast with ribs; 6 legs and 6 thighs with partial back. That was not the distribution at all. There were only three wings, 5 legs, 4 thighs, and the rest were breast pieces cut into quarter pieces. Because my guest was waiting for lunch and the location of the event was 45 minutes away from the store, we kept the chicken. It was not enjoyable. The chicken was dry, actually, it was all dry. It was very apparent that it was chicken that had been pre-scut and placed in a warmer for quick service. The plantains were burnt. The other sides were (black and read beans) were delicious. I am sharing this review to alert consumers to the deceptive practices of this business. I paid them in full with a 15% gratuity, and they provided deplorable and dishonest service.

Wasn’t the first time I visited this location but it may possibly be the last. Maybe my experience wasn’t the greatest because it mid-day on a Saturday. IDK. But my sandwich was very disappointing, I was pissed from the moment I opened the box and saw my sandwich smashed in one compartment. Like WHY!? Most of the chicken was dry, the tomatoe had been cooked on the grill for some reason, I had to take it home and add mayo and seasoning to make it worth my money. I normally get the steak and cheese but when for the chicken this time! I also ordered the Tres Leches which I love. This one looks disgusting because they don’t poke holes and let it absorb into the cake they just but all the goodness on the bottom and sit the cake down in it!!! I honestly does taste really good though despite the way it looks.

CR never fails to be delicious! The Chicken Rico taco salad is exceptionally well made. We also order chicken/rib plate chicken soup and yucca fries. Everyone loved their food with zero complaints. Almost never happens. The decor is nice but not over the top. We chose to eat in and they bring your plate to the table. It was clean and airy and definitely family friendly. I highly recommend you check them out.
