We really enjoy the buffet! Granted, this isn’t the world’s grandest buffet, but the food is abundant and good! We always like the homemade soups and salad bar! Check the Sauder Village website for specials! The restaurant has a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee is great!

A pleasant local restaurant that offered us a buffet lunch. An excellent selection of dishes from soup, chicken, beef, mashed potatoes … salads of your choice, dessert … all in all, 18 dollars for a buffer lunch is more than excellent.
It is a little far from the main road (about 2/3 of a mile), but it is definitely worth coming and eating some local food and enjoying the company of the local population.

This was the first time we have visited here. First impressions are everything. The inside is nice. The staff is pretty good. The food however was terrible. We had to get the buffet at almost $20 each, menu options were not available due to not enough kitchen staff. My grandson could order from the menu tho. His mac and cheese was microwaved and burnt so he didn’t eat it. The buffet food was pretty much inedible. Staff was putting fresh over old food. Will not be visiting again. I wasted $50 and didn’t even eat.

Had the delicious lunch buffet, soup, salad, and main course options. Everything was delicious. We live 90 miles away but like to go a few times a year. Staff is always wonderful. Also Sauder Village is on site for a fun historic option. Update to say that we’ve also had many regular entrees as well and it continues to be great food and a great experience.

Heard good things, broght my wife here. NOT IMPRESSED. In fact, very disappointed. Very, very limited food options for dinner. Only pudding for dessert that looked pretty crusty. You had pay extra for actual desserts like pie. $45 for the 2 of us.
The waitress was extremely nice, and they had a couple singing Christmas songs which was really nice.

I was not a fan of buffets, until NOW! The food was fresh, hot, and homemade. The chicken was juicy and moist, and the homemade broccoli soup I enjoyed a second cup of. If you are near this restaurant, it’s a must stop! Friendly staff, with HOMEMADE food that is favorable and scrumptious. I was sold from the scents when I walked into the establishment.

Food was pretty good. They offered the standard foods you would expect, and those were cooked just fine. But both the hot bar and salad bar on the buffet lacked variety. Their tomato soup was a hit for everyone at our table.

A good buffet overall, but nothing spectacular. A bit disappointed in the food offerings and the salad bar was small I thought for how big the place was. Soup was excellent. Hardly any dessert choices which I thought was odd

Took my family here for the New Year’s eve prime rib buffet. When we first arrived and went up to the counter, there was a young female there who was not having a good day. Giving dirty looks, rolling her eyes, and just not friendly at all. Then my oldest daughter and I paid about $45.00 apiece for the buffet, and the prime rib was horrible. Very overcooked, dry, not tasty. Unfortunately, the other items on the buffet was not very good either, just not much Flavor. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants.

very polite and caring staff. environment was clean and comfortable. the food tasted great however, for the size of the restaurant and the size the crowd the buffet was entirely too small. the staff was struggling to keep, up with the number of people wanting get food from the buffet. it seemed they were running out and not refilling quick enough, so theres 10 people just standing there waiting for the chicken to be refilled or something else that needed attention. i think if you want to run a big olace like that you should invest in some more steam tables, or better prepare ahead of time for a busy night. the food was good but im not interested in standing around for it.
